Red carpet royals! Camilla puts on a VERY glamorous display as she joins Prince Charles at a glittering state banquet on the last night of their Ghanaian tour (updated article)

The Prince of Wales’s visit to a Nigerian city has been cancelled after security measures introduced following deadly regional clashes disrupted plans for the trip.

That is unfortunate.
For the cattle farmers and herders too.
Hopefully the region returns to safety soon.

I like ideas and concerns made in the final speech by Charles.

Any pictures from Nigeria yet?

Now that's great !!!!

I’d say take up that red carpet in Buckingham Palace’s Ballroom and get back to dancing. We know Charles and Camilla are ready to boogie down.

They are clearly enjoying themselves, sooooo good to see !

Could it be some kind of homage to another Dancing Queen ?

Props to Charles and Camilla who can make anyone look good on the dancefloor whether it be Swing, Cha Cha, Samba or Contemporary. They are both good sports and love to dance and enjoy themselves.

I saw them in action on a Dance-O-Mat Gap Filler so, yes, roll up the carpets and turn on the sound.

Continue to enjoy the tour :flowers

The dancing was great, they can both cut a rug ;)

Lovely to see the car the queen used back again. Nostalgic.

I understand Camilla is on her way back, but Charles will stay another 2 days

Quite interesting reading - despite reports that Camilla was with Charles or doing other things on the 3rd November the CC has her as not there with him.

I wonder why.

This is both in the British monarchy website and my other source.

As a result there will be no engagements recorded for Camilla for this day in my count.

If anyone has access to another source for the CC that has events for Camilla on the 3rd November e.g. The Times that would be great but as things stand she can't be counted as attending anything as the CC is the official record and she isn't listed as being with Charles or on her own.

Court Circular 8th November:
The Prince of Wales this morning attended a Service of Commemoration at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Memorial in Abuja, Nigeria, and laid a wreath.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Meeting on rural livelihoods, at the National Botanical Gardens, Abuja.

The Prince of Wales afterwards attended a discussion on intercommunal violence, at the Residence of the British High Commissioner in Abuja.

His Royal Highness this evening arrived at Royal Air Force Brize Norton from Nigeria.
Mr. Scott Furssedonn-Wood, Mrs. Eva Williams, Professor Charles Deakin and Commander Iain Kearsley were in attendance.
