Paul Burrell was supposed to be a trusted confidante, but he shamelessly betrayed Diana with his tell-alls.What a rat! And now he's hurt his own family...

I don't think that you'll find many who disagree with that assessment here.

Aren't his "15 minutes" used up by now? If I never hear his name again it will be too soon!

I have a great deal of disdain for the butler and find him irritating and just another in a long list of people who professed to be her great friend, and then who spent all his time cashing in on his former connections. If I am watching a documentary and that vile little man is on it, I can't watch it. He turns my stomach.

HAVING been barred by Princes William and Harry from their mother’s memorial service, Paul Burrell is desperate to make up with the young royals, according to pals of her former butler.

Now, WHO would pay $ to see a movie about Paul, unless it was comedy because it's just too awful.
And as for reconciling with the Wales boys, a little too much water has passed under that bridge. (Yes, I can see the meeting, and the next thing you know all the details are in Hello and Paul's gotten more $$.)

Yes...floods...deluges.
I think that a movie about Burrell would be fascinating in a so-bad-it's-good kind of way: kind of like a Royal version of "Plan Nine from Outer Space."
However, I don't want to line the man's pockets.

Was that the "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here" show, the "Australian Princess" show or some other item of high culture?

Ah yes, that does ring a bell, Aurora, now that you've mentioned it.

It was called 'Paul Burrell, in his own words'. It was, IMO, vomit worthy.

I think that there should be a new category of celebrity: Celebrity Staff. Thank you for the link, Skydragon.

Well ... Mr.Burrell's sole focus continues to be the money making. At this point in time I would say that his reputation is beyond repair. He is fully aware of the fact that he has become and will remain a persona non-grata. Hopefully money will make up for other things such as family and friends.

Has anyone besides me noticed that Burrell says that Harry was born five years into the Wales' marriage. If he can't get something like that straight...

"I don't think she would mind me telling you about this..."
Right. She loved it when other people blabbed to the press about her. Sigh...

Yet he still says in his books he has kept some of her secrets. I really don't think Diana would have been surprised at him saying these things, as everyone liked to talk to the press about her.I'm sure she wouldn't have liked it, though.

If he was as close to her as he claims he would know that she would mind very much him telling these things. Someone, like me who disliked her from Day 1, knows that so why doesn't someone who was supposedly her confidante.
