Even though Fellowes was significantly older than the Spencer children, I found it very interesting that he shared one of their earliest teachers, Miss Gertrude Allen. I suspect that the Fellowes family mingled with the Spencers socially in the Sandringham area, although I've never seen that confirmed (and thus two of the Spencer girls married older neighborhood bachelors).

Sarah married a relative of Countess Raine Spencer. Does anyone know if he an older man like Lord Fellows and Prince Charles?

I think Neil McCorquodale and Lady Sarah Spencer are only a few years apart in age - four or five, maybe?

Anyone got the latest photos of the fellowes children? Diana and Jane looked similar in some pictures when they were growing up just wandering whether her girls look anything like Diana when she was growing up.

I saw a small film of the order of service of Laura Fellowes' wedding and I noticed that I Vow to Thee, My Country was performed at the wedding (as at her aunt's). And it was said that the bride wore her grandmother's dress, I presume this would be Frances's but I'm not sure.

If I may ask were did you see the film? I would love to see it. I wonder if it was Frances's dress. I remember seeing pictures of Diana's mothers wedding it was a lovely dress. It was said to be one of the most lavish weddings in that time.

Yes, Frances was a lovely bride. I'll try to post the site but I found it by doing a yahoo search of Laura Fellowes wedding. Here it is: http://www.spaldingtoday.co.uk./news...ped.5344568.jp

It was disappointing that all I found was a film of the document the Order of Service but not the actual participants or the dress. I think the dress had been re-made so I'm not sure how accurate the photos of Frances's dress would be to what this bride wore. The film was also very off-center so what you can glean from it is limited.

Alexander Fellowes read a prayer, according to the Order of Service.

Question Concerning Diana's Nieces

I was working on my Diana website and I noticed that Jane had another child listed. Does she have a daughter named Theresa Elaine Fellowes Born in December 1992?

Lady Jane Fellowes has 3 children.
The Honourable Laura Jane Fellowes (born 19 July 1980)
The Honourable Alexander Robert Fellowes (born 23 March 1983)
The Honourable Eleanor Ruth Fellowes (born 20 August 1985)

Theresa Elaine is listed on Robert Fellowes, wikipedia page but she is not listed on Janes.

Was Sir Robert Fellowes married before he married Lady Jane?

Theresa Elaine was apparently born in 1992. So after his other children, and he hasn't divorced his wife.

I've checked it right now, and Wikipedia page on Robert Fellowes, Baron Fellowes, lists only three children, Laura, Alexander and Eleanor, who are his actual children with Jane.

I wouldn't care too much of misterious unknown children listed in Wikipedia, it is very easy to invent and add them there...

I believe that he did. He attended a Fellowes wedding last year, but there are very few photos of the event. I remember seeing a couple of grainy shots of him and Kate taken inside the church.

Lord Fellowes' mother was not Major Ron's sister. She was his aunt.

Jane Charlotte Ferguson was the youngest daughter of Brigadier General Algernon Francis Holford Ferguson and his wife, the Hon. Margaret Brand. She was born in 1912.

Jane's older brother was Colonel Andrew Henry Ferguson, who was born in 1899. Colonel Andrew and his wife, Marian Louisa Montagu-Douglas-Scott were the parents of Major Ronald Ferguson. Major Ron was born in 1931.

Jane Ferguson married Sir William Albemarle Fellowes in 1934. Robert, Lord Fellowes, was their third child and was born in 1941. So Lord Fellowes is the first cousin of Major Ronald Ferguson, and the first cousin 1x removed of Sarah, Duchess of York. Robert's maternal grandfather is Sarah's paternal great grandfather.

If she is then it must be a joyous occasion for the family. Jane must be excited on being an expecting grandma.

A long time ago, I read that Lady Jane was a bridesmaid at the wedding of the current Duke of Kent and Katharine Worsley. I have never seen anything else written about this and it is hard to find a close up picture of the wedding party to see if I could spot her. I found one picture of the entire wedding party and it looks like it could be her, second from the right, just in front of Princess Anne

She would have been about 4 years old at the time
