To be honest, i learned using the eyeliner that way from Diana and when i was teenager i did it like that! To be honest (again) i never disliked it with Diana and i still don't, it was Di's trademark, it belongs with her and also with me a bit haha.

The reason I posted that I laughed when I read about this is because I also wore blue eyeliner back when the Princess was using it! She looked beautiful no matter what she put on her face but I have to admit, to me she looked best in more natural tones which IMHO allowed her own unique beauty to shine through. I love the Testino photo shoot precisely because she looks so natural and unmade-up. But of course, everyone has their own favourite "look" of Diana's. What I loved best was her cheeky side; pop socks, striped shoes to match a striped skirt, the Elvis dress, butterflies on her seamed stockings, etc. Diana always seemed to be winking along with showing off some of the world's best fashion; I think that's part of what made her so approachable and also why so many copied her. To be honest, I've been just a little "lost" since she died as I always looked to the Princess for cues as to the best and most wearable fashions of the moment. No one has ever replaced her, and I don't think anyone ever will - at least not in my lifetime.

I remember this one. This picture is reversed, but I believe it was taken when Charles and Diana were visiting northern Scotland and a man's kilt blew up.

I understand what you mean. I was the same. In the 80's i had loads of clothes that were inspired by her!
I let my mother make several outfits that were the same as Diana's. For instance the red skirt and white blouse she wore at a photoshoot in Spain when the family was on holiday in spain with the spanish royal family.

You wouldn't have known that unless there was text with the picture or you were following Diana in the early 90s, so please don't feel badly about that. A tip though: when you see a royal lady dressed completely in black, changes are that she's at a funeral or in mourning.

You're really good at finding rare photos! I just love the last one on this list you posted yesterday. That was her detective, Paul Officer, driving her away from Coleherne Court, either around or on her Engagement Day and supposedly this is when he told her to make the most of her last night as she would never know private life again. (I would think he had said it previous to this pic as the news of her engagement was already out when it was taken.) Anyway, thanks for posting.
