POLO 1989
May 28: navy long lined blazer with pinstriped lapels not sure if the skirt matched this or it was a white pleated skirt which she sometimes worn with this
June 20 polo after ascot (blue and white suit with turban)
POLO 1990
May 12: white short sleeved t-shirt tucked into cropped denium jeans navy & red striped blazer
well the polo matches have really dropped off you can tell she didn't even want to put up the appearances anymore I think she felt she didn't fit in with his polo set whom I sure all backed him and his affair with Camilla

Thanks, I do not remember a red sweater. I guess that is the reason

had never seen these, they're one of the must stunning I've seen of her, EVER. Which says a lot: in my opinion, it was just impossible for Diana to look dishevelled, ever.
She was always just so luminous. Even now, all these new princesses with all their money and stylists can't hold a candle to Diana in my opinion.

I guess. I'm glad she changed to the white ones, tho-much better. :)

The red shoes didn't go with the green dress with the white collar and white spots that she wore in New Zealand-that's what MsLeiman meant, I think. The "red sweater" pictures were from a different day. :)

That photo of her stretching up on one foot to kiss Charles is one of my all-time favorite Diana photos.

Yes, it was a gift from Charles to Diana in celebration of William's birth. William's name is written in Charles's handwritting. Unfortunately, I don't recall ever see a good closeup picture of this necklace.

Here's a fun photo from July 29, 1983. Charles and Diana seem to be examining the pony.

Aug. 1, 1983 (date supplied by Canadiana):
This is the elusive "weather" sweater. I've found only these 3 photos, and I've been on the lookout for at least twenty years. And I've yet to see the front view! If anybody has any others, I'd be delighted to see them.

Photos: Color, Rex Features; b/w, Mike Lloyd
