I think you will find the caption is incorrect.
If you look closely at left her hand you will see her wedding ring.

I see a ring or a shadow of one but not convinced it's her wedding ring and almost positive that's not her engagement ring so I am sticking with dating.....

To think what could have been, is in fact a little sad. If only someone could have helped them and supported them, I think they could have found a common ground to work from. They seemed to have developed a good friendship at the end of Dianas life. It is funny, that when she finally found herself, things were getting better. Sad that no one could have helped her with that before.

Yes, it is sad. Had they been able to work through their differences (and were determined to remain faithful to each other), they could have been an electrifying, powerful couple.
