Thanks a lot Azucena, those pics if the 80´s are my favourite, it´s when she looked like the most beautiful woman in the world! ,although she seems a little scared here.

You are exactly right! I mean, brains, class, world focus, beauty....and style! What more can you ask for!

Thanks tbhrc!

Here are some mor eclippings from GENTE mag:

having fun at the Alcazar in Paris

getting out of the Alcazar

a 1977 Novella article explaining why Caroline "had" to get engaged to Junot after being caught by the razzis while making out aboard a yacht. The article also carried those infamous pictures, that I can't post here for obvious reasons.

Grace and Caroline

IMO, Grace and Rainier wanted Caroline to marry Junot only because of those pics. Without those pics, Caroline wouldn't have married so young.
Anyways, the pics have disappeared. Probably the Princes of Monaco bought them, as it was said.

Don't forget it was back in 1977. If Charlotte announced she would start a carreer as a pornstar, she wouldn't make such fuss!

Here are some pictures of P. Caroline taking the Bac. There is one set that comes from the R.F, and I apologize for not crediting the member who posted them. I just can't remember ! The others are from clippings. She wears a dress and jacket when she is taking the tests, and if my German is correct, she wears a jumpsuit on the day she goes to check on the results. The article points out that she passed with honors (I think I remember she passed with "mention bien" , just a little bit below her daughter, who passed with "mention tres bien". ("very good", which you must translate as "brilliant", for the average to get that kind of 'mention" is in the mathematical strastosphere). Let's keep in mind though that grades have been inflated in the past 30 years and I read somewhere that getting high "mentions" is easier these days than a generation ago. Anyway, this is not to devalue either mother or daughter, they are both brilliant.

Great clippings, tbhrc ? I love the one with the pareo. She seems to be having a lot of fun doing a striptease imitation. It's nice to see Caroline using her sense of humor with the paparazzi, no less !
I love the one at a skiing vacation but can't recognize the man. Who is it ?

Does anybody know why the relationship to Roberto Rossellini didn't work out at the end? They seemed to get along very well and he proofed as a friend when Caroline was in need - specially after Stefano's death. A nice and decent guy. Nowadays Roberto droped out of sight completely. Is anybody informed about his whereabouts?

I believe it's Roberto Rossellini her on and off companion during the 70's and early 80's.

Thank you for the information, thekla. What I read was that Roberto was not manly enough, whatever that means, that he was too much of a childhood friend, someone on whose shoulder you rest your head on in times of need but not real boyfriend or husband material. Of course, that's just what I read, which means it is the writer's interpretation and take on things.
