Lazuli, the pic was taken on July 7, 1976, during a party at the Regency Hotel in
New York City. You can find several pics of that event at gettyimages as well

Here's a picture of Caroline having a dinner with her father prior to leaving for the U.S.A to continue her studies.
I'm wondering if the lady walking before her was her grandmother Princess Charlotte:

There is this wonderful series of Princess Grace videos on youtube, and one contains a video clip of the Princely Family with Princess Charlotte at Chateau du Marchais. Based on that, I don't think this lady is Prince Rainier's mother. Princess Charlotte appeared to be more heavyset than the lady in this pic, as well as different facial structure.
Here's the clip. The scenes at Marchais start at the 3:20 mark

Besdes, considering P. Charlotte lived between 1898 and 1977 and that this picture of Caroline should date from the mid 70's, the lady in the picture seems to young to be P. Charlotte who, by this time should already be in her late seventies...

According to that the voice of Frederic Mitterand is saying, it could strongly be Princess Charlotte.
Caroline it this seems to be around 15 (long hair). At her 17 she had short hair. I means 1972-73, so Princess Charlotte is about 75 years old. And she looks a bit like Caroline, look at her profile.

Yes, but e-Bay dates the photo as a 1975 one, wich, being true, means P. Charlotte would be 75 years old. Again, i think the lady in the potograph looks too young to be P. Charlotte

I'm not talking about the e-bay photo. Talking about the film. In the photo Caroline looks at her 18ies. But in the film she looks younger, and we vare talking about the lady in the film, looks 75 years.
In the pic we can not see the lady well

Lovely photos and memories regarding Princess Caroline's second marriage. :)
Also odd how both she and her mother married at 26 and had their first child at 27, coincidence?

I remember reading in an interview with Grace, during the time that Caoline was marrying Junot, Grace commenting that she and Rainier felt Caroline was a bit young to be married and have children. What I remember is her saying "I was 27 when I had my first child. That's a good age." It just stuck in my memory because it was so specific.
