This is a brilliant match-up, kudos to you. A perfect example of how Caro and Char sometimes look like twins. But, to reply to the first part of your sentence, I am one of those people! If you look at pictures of Charlotte's face from various angles, you see that the structure of her head, square face, broad jaw, and cleft chin are imported, completely unmodified, directly from Stefano. Caroline's face is oval, Charlotte's is not at all. Her nose is also a feminized version of Stefano's. Many of the expressions you see her with most often are from him too - her shy smile with lips closed is exactly like his. Her ears are a very different size and shape from Caroline's also; since Stefano's hair covered the tops of his ears, it's hard to know whether they come from him or from Rainier :lol:. I see her looks as being about evenly inherited from both her parents. And it is always fun to consider and discuss the topic!
 
To me, personally, Charlotte is a perfect combination of both her lovely parents. I consider her a more lush version of Princess Caroline.

Caroline's face overlaid with Stefano's lush full lips (both upper & lower, accompanied with his shy charming smile), and Caroline's cheekbones enhanced with Stefano's lush full apple cheeks. Just an exquisite combination of two very attractive people resulting in a diamond!
 
I just see Caroline and Princess Charlotte.

Yes, I think that Charlotte is the spitting image of her mother but with the squareness of the face of Stefano and Andrea is the spitting image of his father but with the narrowness of the face of Caroline.
 
I think you're all right - I think Charlotte looks a lot like Caroline but she has that Italian fullness to her face from her father. She has his beautiful full cheeks and those high cheekbones. She's a perfect melding of mother and father. Same with Andrea. I thought that Andrea looked most like Stefano (he has almost exactly the same face) but he has those finer, more delicate "French" qualities to his face, that balances out the more broad Italian look (I'm honestly not trying to offend any Italians here, and I apologise for generalizations! You're a beautiful bunch of people, honestly! :D) Pierre is the one who has an almost carbon copy face of his father. Maybe his is more intentional? He only had three years with his father, and I feel like he more consciously tried to replicate his father. I mean, both Andrea and Pierre wore their hair long, like Stefano used to but it seems like Pierre is the one who's done the most to embrace his father's heritage. JMO.
 
I agree Thecia regarding the Trio and the looks that each received from their parents.

While I certainly feel bad that all of the Kids lost their father at such an early age, I always feel the worst for Pierre as he is the youngest and had the least amount of time with Stefano. I definitely see Stefano in Pierre.

Yes- 100% agree. At least Andrea was old enough to have some vivid memories of his father, but given Charlotte and Pierre's age, not so much the case for them.
 
And it should be noted that I often feel this way for children who lost their parents at an early age. So its not because of who they are but what they lost if that makes sense.

Totally agreed Zonk. Did Princess Charlotte have a French mother? I always wondered about that. I know her husband was a nobleman from Spain. And I think Princess Caroline took after her grandparents and Charlotte took after them all.:flowers:

This is off-topic but in all technicality, yes, (Marie) Juliette was French. She was born in Pierreval, which is a tiny little farming town in Seine-Maritime, Northern France. But Pierre (Rainier's father) wasn't Spanish. He was French too. From Brittany, if I recall correctly. I think he was born in Castle Kerscamp. Charlotte (Rainier's mother - I wish they didn't all have the same names!) was born in Constantine, northern Algeria. That generally leads to the assumption that Juliette was also born in Algeria.
I don't know if I think that Caroline took so much after her grandparents. :ermm: I used to think that Caroline took much more after the Grimaldi line and Grace said herself that she thought Caroline looked like her father (I think that Rainier looked very much like his father but then maybe that was just the mustache :lol:) and I can definitely see the resemblance to Charlotte (the older, though her resemblance in the younger is striking as well) that everyone refers to but the more I look, the more I can't help thinking that Caroline has Grace's features but Rainier's colouring. She has his dark eyes and hair, but the face (I notice it particularly in profile) is to me, Grace's. Caroline doesn't have Grace's Nordic/German colouring but she looks like her. If anyone takes after the Grimaldis, it's Stephanie. I think she looks the most like Rainier. I guess I should have taken this part to the other thread... :ermm:

I sometimes think that way about the features of Princess Grace, but the photos of Princess Charlotte reminds me or Princess Caroline and Charlotte.:);):)

Princess Stephanie looks like a female version of Prince Rainer.The princess eyes and eye brows especially.:flowers:
 
I think that Stephanie is the only one in the family that has Grace's features!
The same bone structure..
Caro is the one that, at least for me, resembles Renier.:flowers:

Yes, Princess Stephanie has Princess Grace's killer bone structure. But most of her facial features are her father's, Prince Rainer.:flowers:
 
I think she is so beautiful,but not having the charm and personality that her mama and grandmother had.Very shy.
 
She doesn't have any title and she did one interview in her life. Who knows what kind of person she is. That she is private, we know. But that doesn't mean she doesn't have the charm and/or personality the women had before her. Which I think she does.

I think you can tell a lot about her from photographs. She reminds me of her Mother in many ways only more reserved than her Mother was at that age.

Her riding has improved since last year too. Thanks for all the pictures eveyone!
