I agree. She seems to have finally achieved a balance of satisfaction in both her personal and professional lives. The depth and passion with which she discusses books in these videos is just wonderful....there is nothing contrived and precious about it....which is how i often feel when she talks about philosophy.

Her collaboration with Chanel is simply perfect for her. I wish Karl was here to see it.?

I haven't watched the video yet, but I'd like it better if she didn't.
We are offered every single days of our lives lists of books written only by men. And the same thing can be said about lists of movies directed by men, paintings, athletes, etc

And nobody thinks there is a need to explain why half of the humans on this earth are excluded.
It is long time to do the same with woman names. An all woman list should need no more explanation than an all men list.

I agree! Recently she recommended a few books by female writers which I had never heard of. I am doing some research about them, because I am always looking for new interesting books to read in English. Charlotte is an educated and intelligent woman , quite unusual in royal circles.

The only thing that bothers me is their discussion of Virginia Woolf. I have read several of her books and found them all very depressing. She must have been very unhappy with her life because she committed suicide. I do not really see that she is so important for women's emancipation, but maybe I am wrong and wasn't able to understand everything I read .

What was the Bloombury Set back in the day? I have read Woolf, Vita Sackville-West and some others of that time. but most of them were just very rich women who dared and could afford to live a life which at that time was quite unusual.
