Great thread, yesterday I was reading about Barbizon cos I have always loved naturalistic landscape, I was looking at beautiful houses all covered by green plants and I was wondering if one of them is Charlotte´s house.

Barbizon is so wonderful . One of those quaint very French towns that seem to be disappearing in France. A town from another time.

The house in Barbizon is right on the edge of the fontainebleau forest. Same as her teenage home in Mée but on another side.
