Exciting to see Harry with Jon Bon Jovi and the Invictus Games Choir today. Music can be so powerful!
Also, cool to see the Scots Guard playing Bon Jovi "Livin' on a Prayer" during changing of the guard today - thanks for posting that, sndral.

Yes, music is indeed a powerful force and it was good to see Harry, Bon Jovi and the Invictus Choir exercising it today. Another powerful force is the deep bond that has always existed between Harry and the Invictus veterans. Looking forward to the Games!

I presume the games are still going to take place then, even though there have been nearly 1,000 cases of COVID-19 in the Netherlands and 12 deaths.

I think the games will be postponed until the fall.

I'm in agreement that the IG will be postponed to a later date. With the games scheduled to start only a short while from now, it just is common sense that with this virus still so rampant and with measures being taken globally to combat it, that it would be in the best interests of the athletes, their families and the spectators that they'd wait until assured of a healthy environment before holding the games.

With everything else being cancelled or postponed. This will go but with the Olympics being the big one about. I am ot so sure about the Invictus Games going ahead at all. It is not a necessary event so to speak.

This is smart move to make at this time. Disappointing of course to those of us looking forward to the IG in May but the health and safety of us all trumps our entertainment hopes.

This will indeed be a great disappointment to the athletes and everyone involved, including Harry. However, there's always next year and the IG will come back bigger and better in 2021 I'm sure. With so many events like this falling by the wayside this decision was inevitable, I'm afraid.

It's a shame, but not surprising - the list of sporting events going on as originally planned is pretty much non-existent. It's much better that they take a year off and come back when everyone can fully participate and enjoy themselves ..........

It's a shame but it's the right call. The Olympics need to cancel too.

Not a great surprise but a shame for those participating and those who follow the Games. It's better for everyone's safety.

No real surprise that they were called off but certainly disappointing nonetheless. I feel for the participants and for the organizers who have put so much hard work into making them a wonderful experience for the participants.

There will be many more problems than postponed IG , people are dying,
no one needs to cheer up at any event but be thankful for not having lost too many of their folks, friends, neighbours or colleagues (when a job is still kept).

Harry invokes 'the Invictus spirit' among 'new challenges' as he speaks to organisers of the Invictus Games on webinar.
