This will be a pretty seclusive and private family funeral. Just what Philip wanted.

There's really not much the public and the media can make out of anything that'd focus on Harry. He'll just be among the his family at a funeral service for his grandfather.
There will be media but I would have thought a restricted number who then share the content as happens with the royal Rota. That is just my opinion, I don't actually know. I doubt for one minute it will be the number similar to outside the hospital for the births. The public will not be inside the castle grounds.

I agree that it is unwise for a pregnant women to fly so many miles. Case in point, the Queen was five month's pregnant with Edward and was unable to attend former US President JF Kennedy's funeral and the UK was represented there by Prince Philip.

I would imagine that they will have a single camera crew probably from the BBC who will film it all and then send it around . As private as any royal ceremony is ever likely to get. Although they do always operate on this within the churches.

(...) Just let everything blow away. Meghan doesn't need excuses not to go. Except, it's just like some posters (and I) said before PP death supposedly erased all of this: they need the image of their royalty. They need the connection. If Harry belonged to a family that was just filthy rich, without the glitter of royalty, we wouldn't be hearing all about how Meghan couldn't... when the interview should have made everyone wonder why she would ever want to return to those ugly racists.

(...) She doesn't need any pretexts not to be there. Not now and not in the future. But I bet we'll keep getting them (...)
No offence but this is such a thoroughly distasteful comment. I genuinely don't understand the need to repeatedly accuse Meghan of lying about her reasoning for not being at the funeral. And in addition to that, insinuating that doctors advising a woman presumably in her third trimester of a high-risk pregnancy against flying overseas is somehow an invention? So inappropriate.

"She has no reason to go" – she has every bit as much reason to go as any of Philip's other in-laws. You have no idea what kind of relationship Meghan had to Philip. As a matter of fact, I think it's been established that the Queen and Philip were right about the only members of the close family H&M have consistently been in contact with over the past year. I think it's extremely inappropriate to not only make assertions about something you know nothing about, but also to weaponise Philip's death in a vendetta against Meghan.

Doesn't matter why she isn't there.

I think everyone can agree though that it is best, given the current obsession with her, that she not be there.

I'm on my phone so can't post the article but according to the DM they've just spotted Harry alone at Heathrow.

That's good news - not that he was spotted but that he safely arrived in the UK - well in time to quarantine for the funeral on Saturday. He should be able to get tested on Thursday and get his result on Friday and be 'released' (if negative) I suppose.

Media now saying he seems to have arrived this afternoon and taken away by security. If he was going to Windsor the media would have seen but there are loads of places he could go.

The DM is saying he was driven to Kensington Palace.

He will have to quarantine for 5 days and present a negative Covid test. According to the DM, he will probably quarantine at Nottingham Cottage since Frogmore Cottage is leased to the Brookbanks.

I guess into his home there or perhaps Will and Kate's.

If they aren't there it would make sense. But they probably kept the house there so maybe there.

I’d say at a guess it’s more likely to be Nott Cott. It’s probably still set up and comfortable for single occupancy for a few days than roaming alone through a huge apartment of over twenty rooms.

Nott Cott would be my guess too. It's somewhere where Harry will feel comfortable and "at home" for a few days. He'll stay there until the funeral, attend the funeral and then perhaps an overnight stay again at Nott Cott then fly back to California.

What really matters though is that he's there for his grandfather's funeral and can mourn with his family.

Feel very sorry for him but people these times have had horrendous things to contend with.

One thing this tells us too is that when Harry is back the UK, he'll have security surrounding him. That's a good thing.

It also allows him easy access to his grandmother, plus offers him privacy ...

Nott Cott is at Kensington Palace in London. The Queen is at Windsor Castle. I don't see Harry meeting up with her much before the actual funeral. Maybe by phone though.

Well they probably arranged an escort to Kensington is a guarded residence. They all are. He doesn't really need security for himself while he is here.

No, but it wouldn't be hard for the Cambridges to come around and wave hello through the windows.

I thought they were believed to be at Anmer Hall, so it would require quite a journey to wave hello. They will surely travel down from Sandringham to the London area some time this week but there is little reason to do so because of Harry when he is still quarantining.

If they were at Kensington they would have been seen already. But I don't know they obviously returned to a London in early March when the schools opened and William was either supposed to be giving a video link nor be at the Baftas in London tonight. Who knows where they are.
