Although this is part of Harry's official trip to Brazil, I can't help but hope that after seeing Harry's quite empathetic and emotional recounting of his visit, that somehow organizations such as Acer will receive more global attention as this is not a problem that is limited to Sao Paulo but is need in far too many places all over the world.. We know how strongly Harry feels about Sentebale and it didn't surprise me one little bit that these children made quite an emotional impact on him and something tells me perhaps a global effort could be in the works for the Royal Foundation. I sure hope so.

I thought it quite moving that H still feels the loss of his beloved mother so keenly after 17 years. It obviously is like yesterday to him while taling to the children who had lost their own parent (s).

I do too. Although, with time, the pain and the hurt does turn to sweet memories, sometimes those memories can make the loss seem as if it happened yesterday.

Videos:
Prince Harry has been to meet villagers located in the rainforest, just outside Sao Paulo. Harry was shown around the village, where he planted a tree and took part in a community art project. The Prince then went to the town of Diadema to see the work of the ACER project which works with underprivileged children-

Seeing a young member of the royal family working like this on behalf of the "Firm" is just brilliant in every way and is what we should be seeing more often from them. Harry is just a natural with people and can relate to them in his own way.

The lost of his mother is still with him after all these years. It's a big part that's missing from him and his brother's lives.

GALLERI: Prins Harrys 3. dag i Brasilien | Royalista

A gallery with Harry in Brazil, doing what he is so very good at, interacting with people.
It's hard work!
And for whateever reason a local women was pretty insistant that Harry should try her hairspray?!?

Additional galleries: Prins Harry besøger børnehospital i Brasilien | Royalista
GALLERI: Prins Harry i Brasilien dag 2 | Royalista

He seems to be a man who posess the enviable quality of just being able to make people connect with him on the spot.
A rare gift and it's good to see that the BRF use him so well.

William and Harry only very rarely talk, in public, about the death of their mother. Harry must surely have been moved by these children for him to bring up his own experience.
