They denied it for 1 of 2 reasons.
1. He is secretly with someone else. William had the Palace deny the tabloid rumors linking him to Jecca Craig in 2003, when he was already secretly with Catherine. The Palace also denied the Camilla Thurlow rumors around the time we believe he had a brief reprise with Cressida.
2. He is just fed up with the rumors about his love-life and wants peace and quiet.
Given how rarely the Palace denies this type of tabloid prattle, I'm leaning a little towards option 1. The Palace let that Emma Watson tomfoolery take over the internet for days before Ms. Watson denied it on Twitter.

The Palace denied the Jecca rumor because Kate was livid. Plus its william.
Harry isn't at some school and far from the circle of socialites . They denied this rumor because the dm has been writing stories trashing his stay in africa. He had to squash that by driving 3 hours to speak to the namibian pm.They denied the wedding rumor last month as well. KP is tired of being called to confirm rumors of his love life or lack thereof.

 The video is an excellent example of media manipulation. In context, on tour in NZ it made sense. However, the DM posting an edited version of that interview in an article with the header "Did Prince Harry have a fling with this Brazilian party girl?" was very misleading and quite frankly, made him seem like an airhead.
It just reiterates the truth that just because it's in the press it doesn't make it true. Posting an edited part of the interview made it seem like he was saying almost the opposite of what he actually did say.
Yet another example of "telling a half truth is more of a lie than an outright lie"! The Daily Mail Online and others of the same ilk specialise in it.

I know this is your theory but I have a really difficult time imagining this. Catherine seems to be one of the calmest people in the media spotlight. In fact, I find her too passive. She let's herself be bullied by the media. They make up malicious lies about her. They take potshots at her pedigree. They violate her human rights : phone-hacking, long-lens photos, and use of fraud to access her medical records. Through it all she keeps a dignified silence. Even in the engagement interview she said she doesn't care about media lies as long as her family and friends know the truth.
It's William and Harry who get furious at the lies and mistreatment from the media. They fight back. Can you imagine Catherine trying to punch a paparazzi like Harry did?
I think William got livid that the tabloids were twisting his innocent friendship with Jecca. Especially, since he had a secret girlfriend and Jecca was in a long-term relationship. The tabs were depicting Jecca as a harlot who was two-timing her boyfriend. I think William told the Palace media rep to shut down the rubbish. It was reported after that William called Jecca's boyfriend to apologize for him being dragged into the tabloid nastiness.
Anyways, back to the topic at hand. It's too bad Antonia's older sister Tessa is already married. Tessa seems more like Harry's type. Tessa is super artsy like Florence and Cressida. And she is currently a jewelry designer like Chelsy supposedly is. They might have been a decent match.

Yeah that's why I said it's william, since he has a history of getting upset quickly with the tabloid writers. Harry knocking out the pap was more of his drunkenness that time. Though he did get upset over that movie date headline last year. I do recall kate walking with pippa and covering her face, telling paps that this should be illegal. But she has come across calmer in comparison because she does enjoy the attention when she's dolled up. All these socialites appear to be doing the same things because they're all from the same set. I'm surprised it was denied before it was reported. But it isn't rare for kp to know first before reporting it. I'm more surprised that the latest rumor about that Brazilian girl didn't have any proof. A rumor that was easily forgettable.

Rumours about Harry and Antonia must have been gathering speed in London and being elaborated on IMO for KP to leap on it so quickly. Perhaps Antonia herself complained to them.
Too much water under the bridge for any Harry/Chelsy reunion, in my humble opinion. It was a tumultuous relationship when they were young and nothing's really changed. Harry's still a prince, Chelsy still likes her freedom. Both may have left their original professions but I believe their lives are still travelling in different directions.

Yes, Harry and Antonia could have met at a party and had a bit of a flirt or pash. Onlookers may have done some stretching of the truth but I'm sure he has at least met her.
Harry is in South Africa now. See the current activities thread. Now he and Chelsy are at least in the same country who knows what might happen! He may have breaks.....

Yes, I know he's in Africa and perhaps with Chelsy, but I just found it strange Antonia have deleted their social networks, she deleted the facebook and also instagram. I found somewhat suspect.there is still a facebook in her name, but it is fake,the real was deleted

Interesting, cat. Perhaps she was being hassled by people wanting to be her 'friend' after the reports came out, though, or even after rumours started and so she became fed up and decided to retreat from social media for a while. Maybe she was afraid of her FB and Instagram being hacked?

Yes, maybe you're right, but when it was rumored that George Clooney was dating Amal, she also erased their social networks and then we saw it was true. I would love for Prince Harry to marry a Brazilian girl, even if it is not me. I love him hahaha
