What usually seems to happen about this time is that the tabloids start reporting every rumor they hear and hoping something ends up being accurate. We've entered into the crazy season.

I'm just going to sit back and wait and see.

It's been a bit crazy/nutty for quite awhile now so I am hoping that there is NO more drama from anyone and the wedding goes off without a bit of trouble. I would rather see all the children in the bridal party running around having the time of their life then what has been going on lately.

So let the children have fun after all the vows are said and done........

Not likely - they will be lucky if it does not get to the press. EVERY wedding has some kind of background drama that is working. Even elopements have the background drama they walked AWAY from.

The secret is to let it be YOUR day. Know other people have responsibility for their own behavior. You can only be responsible for yourself. And to focus on a ceremony that sets you off into the future.

Previously 'those that cared' or were interested in the Wedding [a majority], were excited and full of anticipation, and 'happy' for the couple..
Now they are weary and WARY, wanting it 'to be over with'...There is a palpable sense of unease and uncertainty, even [amongst some] of foreboding...
None of this is the fault of of the couple themselves or the BRF, and less to do with the 'minor' Markles [most have NO idea who Samantha even is]. It is the antics of Markle Sr who is responsible for this obvious pall.
I'm old enough to remember quite a few BRF weddings, and, although [in retrospect] all was not 'comme il faut', in some cases, I have never registered any level of disquiet prior [even] to the ceremony itself... Today, there IS.

It is very sad, that one individual [and SO close to a principal party] as contrived to 'take the shine off' what ought to be a joyous occasion...
I just want it to me over as well, I also don't feel with time the Markle's will shut up and fade away. This is baggage that will not cease to be visible and smelly.

Your post made me think of the saying: 'Not my monkeys, not my circus!'
And yes, it's going to be a very adorable group I think.

Children really are magic, aren't they?

A beautiful bride moving down the aisle and behind her a gaggle of little heart-melters. And because two of them happen to belong to William and Kate, a ton of media attention on this part of the wedding.

Handsome prince. check
Beautiful bride. check
true love. check
children to lighten every heart. check

I'm feeling very mellow about Saturday. Tacky tabloids can't touch the magic of a love story wrapped up in a royal wedding package.

I think its normal royal wedding fatigue that many (including myself and I was/am pumped about the wedding) are experiencing. It's just everywhere and this was before this bombshell week!

I am excited for the big day but won't be sad to see if it over and than we can go on with our normal royal watch/discussions.

A lovely big bunch of child attendants. Very sweet.
I hope all good blessings for Meghan and Harry.

Very exciting!
Pretty impressive as it should be IMO. Mother of the Bride is a big deal. I'm glad she was well taken care of.

I see a few press outlets referring to the Mahoney twins as fraternal. They seem identical to me!

I for myself now want boring normal royal news, fashion, events, tours and maybe food and drink......being Harry is one of my very favorites for many years and seeing how happy and in love he is with Meghan who returns that love the same way......I am thrilled for them and heck I don't even know them. Yet I have watched over the decades how he was born and grew with growing pains that all of us have to become the wonderful strong intelligent young man today.......this wedding was the icing on the cake for me as his brother already has his bride, now it is Harry's turn.

I wish Harry and Meghan dozens of decades together filled with love and joy and babies...oh what beautiful babies they will have also....so let's get on with the wedding so that in the near future babies will be born to our hearts delight here....

I mean this article is pretty ridiculous.
I thought more than once today, that it is time for a man to wrangle the herd of little people standing up at a Royal Family wedding.

I do think the very personal nature of the attendant choices delicious. I am still hoping for an adult wrangler, because I am pragmatic. And I think it would be hilarious to say the adult handling the attendant management issues at this wedding had a better bum than Harry does. I can dream.

I would be shocked if they didn't have a dedicated child minder or three.

I vote for Lady Sarah’s son, Arthur Chatto, to tend to the kids.

It is exhausting. The rehearsal hopefully brings some pictures. Seeing Meghan and Doria check in will be great. Come Saturday I will be pumped. But right now? Ooof.

If he is even invited to the wedding ! Haven’t we been told that second cousins don’t count ? Or is it just third cousins ?

If it is true, it is disgusting. So the Spice Girls are invited, but King George V and Queen Mary’s great-great grandchildren are not ? Are we to assume that Harry has a close personal relationship with the Spice Girls , closer than with his third cousins ?

You are assuming he’s close to his third cousins at all.
