I am sure Harry and Meghan will take away some wonderful memories of this entire tour. I hope her mum Doria has started a scrap book.

Harry and Meghan saying goodbye to the King and Queen of Tonga -

Axeyman, Curryong, Tarlita, don't miss the Channel 9 special following "60 Minutes" this coming Sunday night.
Called "The Modern Royals Tour Down Under" - it should be a good wrap up of this wonderful visit.
Currently 4.45pm here in Sydney and Harry and Meghan are due to touch down in about forty-five minutes to and hour.
They are then due at the Shangri La Hotel around 6.00pm - so maybe another outfit change on a plane.

I wish the organisers of this tour hadn't made the scheduling so tight. Especially for tonight. I hope Meghan doesn't feel too tired tonight.
I read somewhere that the UK press were worn out on the 4th day.

That would be one of my biggest complaint about the tour. It feels like they were given a list by the government of each country on what they would like the couple to do, and the couple simply tried to do everything. While thats great for the governments because it means the countries got their moneys worth from the couple.
The result is a very confusing and intense tour scheduled where they don't spend as much time at an engagement as they should and because the schedule is very jam packed the different events meld together and the news of the tour and different engagements starts devouring each other.
Pacing IMO was a big issue this tour. They tried to do too much, too quickly and too close together. I hope they learn to pace themselves better for the next tour. (That's not even taking into account the pregnancy, just as an ordinary tour it was too rushed)
3 very good engaging meaningful engagements a day with a random quirky small engagement thrown in there would have been a much better pace and they can spend a good amount of time at each engagement.
It was disappointing to see the Tonga cultural exhibit was just a super quick walk through of the exhibit , The royal reporters waiting there posted about some absolutely fascinating items on display and it would have been nice to see them stop and talk to craftsmen about it in-depth.

A bit of drama on the flight back from Tonga -
Rebecca English, Emily Nash and Omid Scobie have all just tweetted that the plane was about to land at Sydney - and seconds from doing so, had to avoid another plane that was still on the runway.
The couple's plane had to execute a "missed approach" and circle around for another go.
Also reported on the TV evening news.
And no more Admiralty House for Harry and Meghan.
They will spend their last two nights in a hotel.
(I'm guessing it will be the Shangri La. Harry has stayed there before - as have Mary and Frederik - and knows how fantastic the views are.)
Plus, because of the aborted landing, things are running a little late.

That aborted landing must have been rather frustrating. And I agree about the pace of the tour, too many changes of scenery, of clothes, focus, very very rushed and exhausting for those involved. However, we are seeing a lot of Harry and Meghan, which is always enjoyable.

Agree.
A little too much, and I have completely lost track of what they were doing where and when.
They must be totally wasted when this tour is over!

Thanks Sun Lion, no mention here about the plane. I wonder why they can't stay at Admiralty house? Seems strange.
Anyway at least they landed safely. By now they must be feeling like having a day off.

Scroll further down in the Emily Nash Twitter link and there is also a video by Simon Atkinson. The missed approach was nothing dramatic whatsoever. The plane landed safely a few minutes later.
Of course the DF has an overblown headline "seconds from disaster" which is so far from the truth! But what else can you expect from the DF?
I am glad Mr. Atkinson refused permission to the DF for use of his video.

Inside the Australian Geographic Awards tonight where Harry will make a speech and accept an award on behalf of his grandmother. Meghan looks terrific in Oscar de la Renta.

As someone on twitter said looks like a "real princess dress."
Oscar de la Renta cocktail dress is very flattering from what I have seen from only one photo. On the DM site all the photos are very blurry for me. Perhaps that will be rectified.
