Come on, Meghan. Be a good sport and show us that baby bump.

Never understand why people are so obsessed with (celebrity) baby bumps...
Must be so intrusive to read and hear all the time to show it.

'Amazing scenes' as the couple reached the Grand Pacific Hotel.

As I typed that I was watching the Channel 7 report of Harry and Meghan at the reception where Harry spoke a few words in the Fijian language at Albert Park to cheers. At the hotel they went on a balcony to wave to the crowds as the Queen and Prince Philip did in 1954.

In Safiyaa - another London fashion house. Not a very prominent brand from what I can tell - will be a nice exposure for them.
It's very minimalist and clean. Definitely something different.
I like the colour - Fiji's national colour. She did the same with Australia - wore green for their evening reception. I am expecting red and/or white in Tonga.

This is the grandest welcome I've seen for the Sussexes. Did you see the necklace Meghan received when meeting the president? And why did the president bow to them?

It was a wonderful welcome, I bet they were overcome. Don't know why the President bowed. A mark of politeness perhaps, or respect for a member of the BRF who was representing his grandmother, the head of the Commonwealth.

Or, some people are just happy about the baby. It's not like I'm asking to see the ultrasound or bump in a swimsuit.

I'm going to say white. She could surprise me though. I think we can rule out concern for mosquitoes in air conditioned room, so the dark rule doesn't apply right?

I absolutely love the tropical flower bouquet that Meghan received on arrival. Also she looked very lovely in white.
Her blue gown worn to the banquet is lovely too. They should have a wonderful time here.
Also their last night on sub tropical Fraser Island was a full moon glistening across the water. Add in the balmy evening and they should have had a lovely romantic evening in their private villa part of the resort I believe.

Pearl necklace, and Harry got a whale tooth. The tooth is meant for health.
I assume the president just bowed as a sign of respect. Not expected.
Amazing showing of people to welcome them. Quite big.

I've heard Harry is very well liked and respected Down Under...perhaps the reaction/action is tied to that.

I think that members of the BRF have always been liked and respected by the people of Fiji and Tonga, especially the Queen. I saw the official doco on her and Prince Philip's tour to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific in 1954, and that was something else! A very different time of course, but I do think Fijians like royals coming to see them!

What a scene. I can only imagine what went through her head.

Here's a video of the meeting. I think it has to do with local customs.

It is the 1st time ever Harry referring to Meghan at the fijian state dinner as "the Duchess..." and I admit I love that - at least at official and ceremonial functions like that!
Cannot recall William ever having done so (he always says when he talks in a speech about himself and Kate "Catherine and I ....")
