Nothing like the Australian media to make the UK media seem crabby.

He'll probably get interviewed on TV tomorrow Alisa - and on both major channels!
Getting on the tram now - just gone 3.10pm.
And away they go - the couple sitting seperately, chatting to students. What an experience for those young people.
Outriders for the tram are on bicycles!
Live coverage has been extended to broadcast these later events - great of channel 7.
And channel 9 now on live coverage for the beach event.
And arrived already - such crowds.
At the beach -

And leaving the beach now - just gone 3.30pm. No rain, so that's great.

I think the accident really did have a big effect on the schedule today. It was great that they interacted with the crowd for 30 minutes but it felt like all the other engagements got rushed as a result.
The enterprise cafe it was reported that Meghan (and maybe Meghan)will do a cooking demonstration but it turned into them just looking at events and a private lunch.
The school visit into just kids showing their lunch boxes.
The beach clean up turned into a quick meeting with the crowds and volunteers.
I love this couple and the events planned but unfortunately today felt a rushed day and we didn't to see them interact with the organizations as much as we know they usually do.

So, as it turns out, there IS a tiara moment on this tour. An adorable little girl presented Meghan with flowers and a tiara.

Different perspective from our TV commetators Fros, they're just wrapping up the day and saying how unrushed the couple were despite the late start.
The school children all got to do their chats with the couple about the worm farm and school garden etc - interviews with them about their experiences already broadcast.
Meeting with people inside Government House was also fully broadcast and the outside activities.
Perhaps they made up time by dropping the cooking at the cafe.
Still on their way to the airport - live crosses to the motorcade and again, a green corridor all the way, no other vehicles on the freeway.
They're coming back to a sudden thunder and lightening storm here in Sydney. Hope it's gone by the time of tomorrow's activities - Bondi and the Bridge Climb.
Lovely comment from a young girl who was introduced to Meghan - "Don't be nervous, there's nothing to be nervous about", Meghan told her.

Sydney's Daily Telegraph paper acquired one of the pics Harry took during this tour of his wife with spectators - so charming.

Oh my the little boy and his necklace, he was so proud.
Love the little girl with the tiara as well
The school has such a fantastic program like the garden. Wish more schools did.
Really enjoying the stops so far.

Meghan should be in no doubt now how important she is as a member of the British Royal Family to the far flung countries of the Commonwealth. Just because we are on the other side of the world doesn't mean we don't follow them.
She may become very tired after this but exhilarated as well that thousands of people adored seeing her. And we got a big thrill from it too.
We have seen Harry up grow and it is such a delight that he has chosen a wonderful wife.
And to think now we have to be very patient to see their beautiful child when that child is old enough to visit us here.
When Diana visited one of our beaches she was introduced to muscle bound tanned guys in skimpy swimwear. (Swimwear nicknamed budgie smugglers, re the little bird budgeriegar.) This time is very different.

It truly has been amazing seeing everyone turn out for this visit. The Sussexes couldn't have asked for a warmer reception. It's just unfortunate that the crowds are so large some people are having trouble meting them.
It's also great to see Australian radio stations gets in on the fun with very lovely light hearted pranks.
In Sydney we got the big flower bouquet that even Harry was shocked by.
Today we got a choir outside Government House singing "Stand by me" a fun gestures its' great to see everyone get in on the fun.

Thanks Fros for the link. That was lovely. Brendan Fevola is well known as an ex footballer. He is such a big softy. Harry looked really chuffed by it too.
So what was the highlight from today do you think?

That's great to hear people didn't feel like they were rushed. That's the most important thing.
I wonder what the embargoed events were and if they got to them in the end.
My guess is the cooking engagement at the enterprise cafe and the community beach clean up they were reportedly going to participate in on the beach both those events just turned into meetings.

There was a bit of a rubbish pickup - very quick.
I think the embargoed events where the cafe and the school.
Both for crowd control.
The street outside the cafe was closed to traffic while the couple were there, but word got around and the crowds - on foot - came.
The TV commentators wouldn't name the school until Harry and Meghan were inside - but, Axeyman had a post on here naming it a good deal earlier than the couple arriving there
Not so secret, as again masses of people turned up.
Great crowds along the tram ride and at the beach - and not a long ride.

Seeing Meghan handle that football Tarlita. That's not easy to do - the balll could have gone off in any direction.
And Meghan looking at the street art on the side of the cafe before the others joined her.
They both look so engaged with people and with what is happening.
I'm really looking forward to the coming days - this tour just seems so warm and happy.
