This is delightful. The government of Wales, as a wedding present to Harry and Meghan, donated £1,500 to a Welsh charity, Life for African Mothers, which is using the money to send a Welsh midwife to Liberia to help train 15 local midwives.

That's just absolutely terrific. What a marvellous use of money in the form of a gift. The future mothers in Liberia will be so thankful, I'm sure. Bet Meghan and Harry are pleased.

What a fantastic idea. A way to make the gift keep on giving. A smaller donation but one which will change/help lives for many years to come

That's such a lovely thing to do in honor of H&M's wedding. It's interesting to only hear about it now, unless it was reported previously. Meanwhile, the #GlobalSussexBabyShower donation campaign for Sussex charities is ongoing thru May 12.
