It wasn't Markus who first introduced them. It was by a woman, they chose to protect her privacy. Meghan went to Botswana in summer of 2016.

Why would it had been controversial to marry Sophie...?! She was neither divorced nor a soap starlet. Sophie had her own company and was already an integral part of the RF before she married Ed, getting perfectly along with both the Queen and the Qu.mother.

She has met different members of the Prince's family, including on Diana's side.

She's met the Queen a couple of times.

So, who else are we assuming she wasn't delighted with? Or is it just Meghan?

One of her dogs is already in UK, and has been for awhile.

A handful of teas and meetings with PoW.

And Botswana has even more meaning to them as that was not only this year's destination but also last year's and where they first really got to know each other after their blind date and two subsequent dates...

And who would be the soap startlet? Because Meghan is a Northwestern-educated, UN advocate & actress - know for being one of the main stars on a long-running, succesful US prime time TV show.

And of course they hope to start a family soon but one step at a time.

Harry had never heard of Meghan until just before their friend set up this date; and Meghan loved that she got to know the royal family (both the institution and the family)from within and not through the tabloids. Furthermore, she decided to not read anything what was written about them after reading lots of untruths when the story of their relationship first broke.

Unfortunately, the video crashed at the shot of the engagement ring. All in all, they are clearly in-love and were pretty sure of where their relationship was heading early on (with Harry falling head over heals in love right away).

Very good interview from the couple. It was beautiful to see them together. Very well spoken.

Sky News Live will air the entire interview again at 7PM for those who missed it.

OH MY GOD I am in Heaven after that interview!!

Meghan is so natural on camera and Harry is SO in love with her... and his comment that Meghan and Diana would have been the best of friends and "thick as thieves" rings so true! And they basically have been living together practically this whole time with no more than 2 weeks of separation at a time!

And pretty much everything we thought they'd have in common they did! They bonded over a mutual love of giving back and charity and changing the world. So lovely.

Gah I'm so happy.

That's a pity and a little strange; they surely could have organized that some time in the last year and a half. Sounds like Meghan is not that close to her father.

Indeed, I was pleasantly surprised by them. Lots of bonus points from me after seeing and listening to them.

Pleasantly surprised by this interview and by Meghan, she seems quite down to earth actually.
