He's a bit of a rock star, this one. But he really gets it in this part of the world.

Loved the photos of Harry in Zambia so far - it's always great to see him with people and children, especially.

Nice photos. Prince Harry seems to genuinely connect with people beautifully at different levels - it's nice to see.

Prince Harry to facilitate elephant move from Botswana to Zambia | Skynews Africa

After the closed door meeting with the president of Zambia a spokesperson for the president revealed what they talked about in the meeting.

“Prince Harry told the president during closed-door talks that African Parks will help move between 500 and 1,000 elephants from Botswana into Zambia’s Kafue National Park,” Lungu’s spokesman Amos Chanda said.

“He said this should help boost Zambia’s tourism and create jobs, especially for the youth.”

Botswana has the highest population of elephants in Africa, while Zambia struggles to pull in the same crowds to its more rundown safari parks

The Duke of Sussex this morning attended a meeting commemorating veterans of world war one and world war two at Burma Barracks, Lusaka, Zambia.

His Royal Highness, president, The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, later attended a presentation held by the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, Lusaka, and met beneficiaries of Circus Zambia.

The Duke of Sussex this afternoon visited Bongohive technology and innovation hub, Thabo Mbeki road, Lusaka.

Harry with the circus performers and at later engagements, including with veterans. Yes, I know it's the Fail, but they do great photos! Harry looks as if he is really enjoying himself at all engagements.

Getting caught up. I always love seeing Harry on tour, solo or with Meghan

Great photos. Amazing welcome with the dancers. All the photos so far show such a driendly people. And such beautiful colors.

Always enjoy seeing Harry with kids. He is in his element

Sad the commission had to set story straight. Papers do little research sadly. It was always a solo trip. Considering her pregnancy and just getting back a month ago from a 16 day tour, going to Africa for two days may have been too much. Hopefully she will get to accompany him in the future.

Harry does seem to be overloaded with charisma and it really shows in the pictures on this tour. I never get tired of looking at his facial expressions.

Its great too that Harry was able to enable the transfer of elephants from Botswana to Zambia. As an ambassador for United for Wildlife, he's certainly doing a good job.

That's a great article about the two day visit and the people involved in the events. Thanks for posting it. Always like to read about Harry's engagements and this sounds as if it was interesting and valuable.

Yes he is the president and patron of African Parks so he was there for a board meeting and perhaps some field work as well.

Harry did a remarkable job on his tour to Zambia and managed to stay over a day to act on a personal level with something he's involved with. I think the Queen made a good choice when she named Harry an ambassador for youth in the Commonwealth. Along with being an ambassador for United for Wildlife through the Royal Foundation, Harry is going to hit his stride doing what he does best. Interacting with people.

He certainly did well in Zambia. Agree, the Queen made an excellent choice in choosing Harry to be youth ambassador for the Commonwealth, he communicates well with all people, and especially youth.

It was also nice learning that some of the people Harry met had already met Meghan and were also impressed by her. After getting a big hug from Harry, Angie Murimirwa, executive director of CAMFED described Meghan, “She has powerful energy as well, and she is really commited to getting this right and using their position and her powerful voice, to use it to spread the word that young people and women were doing this work to support others.”

The Sussexes are a fantastic team and really complement each other by how they show compassion about their work & relate to people.
