Prince Joachim, Current Events Part 3: June 2016 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Prince Joachim sent a video message to pupils of Danish Øregård Gymnasium (probably currently in Paris) who today had a meeting about "French defense and security policy, French-Danish defense cooperation, terrorism, the Ukraine crisis":

Øregård high school is IIRC located across the street from the school M&F's children attend and pupils from that school often continue at this high school after graduating from shcool.

Yesterday and today, March 17, Prince Joachim attended meetings of "Danish and French defense commands and defence attachées (..) in Copenhagen to discuss (..) cooperation, the war in Ukraine and ideas for future cooperation":

These are two meetings I would very much like to attend!

The co-operation between France and DK in regards to military and security politics is increasing these years, perhaps even taking over to a considerable degree from Britain, with which DK used to have a very close military co-operation.
There are so many things in this context I would like to learn more about.

Hmm, are we going to purchase some French naval equipment, I wonder?
Or sell the flex-concept to France?

That's a mobile repair shop, for tanks, trucks, armored vehicles, artillery pieces and other frontline equipment.

Basically when a vehicle is damaged or breaks down, it calls in such a repair truck - provided of course they are not under fire - and in most cases it should be possible to do the repairs on the spot or at least enable the damaged vehicle to limp further back for more intensive repairs.
Alternatively it can scrap a destroyed vehicle for workable parts to be used in other vehicles. Spare parts are always in high demand!

Yes, because DK has a considerable defense industry.
Mainly in software, components and logistic solutions as well as something as mundane as mess halls - soldiers needs to eat.
Normally this exhibition is fairly low key, but as everybody and their grandmother are expanding and upgrading their military these days it is now larger than ever - with considerable participation from foreign manufactures as well.
Joachim, as a military attache, has to stay well informed. Not least because DK and French manufactures have agreed on a cooperation. With France no doubt having the strongest military in EU.

Prince Joachim attended the signing of an agreement between the Terma Group (a "supplier of mission critical solutions for the international aerospace, defense and security sector" and the Atos Group (an "European market leader in cloud, cybersecurity and high-performance computing") yesterday, September 22:

I know that company pretty well. They develop and produce some seriously advanced gadgets, especially in regards to sensors and radar.

I'm not surprised to see that company being involved in French-Danish military development.
As a military attache, Joachim's job is also to help the Danish defense industry.
