Joachim has given an interview to the regional channel TV Syd, which cover Southern Jutland.
https://www.tvsyd.dk/artikel/eksklus...oeles-som-hjem
Here he talks about leaving Schackenborg, how much the place meant for him and his affiliation with that part of DK.
- Without being a psychologist it sounds to me that Joachim is still trying to come to terms with the fact that he had to give up the manor.
There was also a lot of feeling of being let down by the Southern Jutlanders when Schackenborg was sold, so the interview is of course of considerable local interest.

Joachim has been a bit out of the picture lately and now we know why:
https://ekstrabladet.dk/flash/filmog...-serie/7442406
He has been busy being involved in a new TV-documentary series, focusing on who are we (the Danes), where do we come from and how have we become who we are now. That process hasn't been a straight line of course.
Joachim has been involved in the creative process of this docu and he is the main narrator.
The producer is Anna von Lowzow.
The shooting to the series is still going on and are expected to end next summer, the series will then be aired in the autumn next year.
- Could be interesting. Joachim has a keen interest and knowledge about history.

Thanks, Polyesco.
Some may wonder what Joachim, who usually deal more with commerce export and research has to do with a skin-research center. It actually covers all the above mentioned topics. There is serious money in medication and treatment in skin-conditions!
Especially now that huge markets have opened in Africa, China, India, Indonesia and Brazil. There a large and growing middle class has been established and they demand treatment for their ailments and they are willing and capable of paying. They not only will not, they cannot, walk around with a treatable skin disease. - Physical (or rather cosmetic) diseases are for the poor and uneducated...
Yes, there is a good deal of snobbery there.
DK has for many years been the world leader in producing and exporting insulin, which is in ever increasing demand due to the world wide increase in the middle class, with the life style that follows.
So this new research center is aimed at ensuring DK gets a good slice of that cake.
Oh yeah, there is of course also the altruistic element. For the better good of mankind and all that.
