Christening of Prince Felix: October 4, 2002
I'm going to start a thread about Felix's baptism. I don't know alot of details, though.
The godparents are:
Martina Bent (Alexandra's sister)
Count Christian Ahlefeldt-Laurvig (friend)
Annick Boel (Alexandra's lady-in-waiting)
Oscar Davidsen Siesby (Joachim's friend)
There's one more godparent, but I don't know the name.

Wonderful photos. I have never seen photos of the danish baptisms. Felix was such a beautiful baby! Thanks!

BUt even though if they are already divorced, I think the family is closer now and well-bonded. And I appreciate and admire how Prince JOachim and Princess Alexandra handled the separation period with utmost respect and proper actions resulting to a good relationship they still have now.

http://www.dkblind.dk/stoet-os/kob-en-lykkemont-til-barnet
Dansk Blindesamfund gave Felix a jewlley as a gift
"Barnets Lykkeskilling"
I 2002 blev den originale lykkemønt pudset op og relanceret i forbindelse med Dansk Blindesamfunds protektor, Grevinde Alexandra af Frederiksborgs, fødsel af Prins Felix

So nice to relive the baptism of Felix in light of the upcoming birth of the next prince/princess. Nikolai is so cute as he keeps looking behind him and Joachim holds him by the hand and gently leads him down the aisle.
It's almost as if Nikolai wanted more taste of what had just taken place. Just one last look ...

Seeing this video today, a month before the christening of Joachim's third and Marie's first child, I hope that there will also be a video of it at this lovely church.
There were nice pictures taken at Schackenborg afterwards. Likewise, perhaps family pictures at Schackenborg will also be taken with the new baby's family.
