It seemed much more homely and informal this time than with the two previous presentations with Frederik and Mary's babies. If I remember right, the situation was more formal when Alexandra gave birth to Nikolai and Felix. Marie was dressed more casually and the baby too.
It was endearing to see Marie's father at the hospital smiling all the time. He really seems taken with his grandchild - is it his first? I wonder if Marie is close to her dad since he has been at the hospital every day.
I hope Marie gets a chance to rest in Copenhagen at least for a week or two. I couldn't help thinking how tired she must be and it isn't easy trying to look fresh and normal after giving birth. Does anyone know if the birth was difficult or how long do people stay in the hospital after giving birth in Denmark? I wonder if there's going to be photos later today, I can't remember how soon we saw pictures with the other royal babies.

Marie comes across as very relaxed - it's Joachim who looks pretty exhausted.
On another note, is there nothing suitable for the baby to wear? It looks like they wrapped up their son in one of Joachim's grey scarfs

What a charming little prince he is! I hope we do get some official pictures over the next few days with Nikolai and Felix.
Princess Marie is glowing and both she and Joachim look so very happy. I wish them all the best

It seams that they were so many people around them, to me too mucht people around them. The little Prince didn't bother about the noise...he just didn't move, to me that was a bit strange . Everything was very normal, no stress, and Marie looked very very relaxed towards the photographers. Marie tunic was very normal and not so fashion has Mary was when she leave the Hospital but that is just Marie way!

Maybe not today, but most likely within the next 4 weeks. We talk about Marie&Joachim after all. They are into luvey-duvey photoshootings
Besides we also got ones with baby Felix (and I guess also with Nikolai, but I don´t remember really)

Ah, look at that little boy, I love babies with dark hair and Marie looks beautiful. Too bad we have to wait so long for the name.

First of all, I have to echo the comments about Marie....she looks fabulous! Remember those photos on the balcony for Queen Margrethe's birthday? She looked all puffy & tired and now -- happy, well-rested, just wonderful. Can't say the same about myself when I left hospital after giving birth.
In one of the close up photos of the baby prince, it looked like he had scratched his face. So typical of a newborn!
I also am touched by the fact that Marie's father was present. It's probably been a very quick and tumultuous year for Marie in many respects and it's great that her family is there to lend support.
