"When participants in the Royal Run 2020 cross the finish line, they will receive a redesigned medal around their neck.
The appearance of the medal has just been revealed, and here H.K.H. The Crown Prince it presented. In addition to being made of zinc, the medal has a cord woven from recycled plastic. The Royal Run will be launched on June 1 in Sønderborg and then continue in Aalborg and Odense as well as Copenhagen and Frederiksberg. In addition, Royal Run will again be held at Bornholm, though without royal participation. Four days before the launch goes to Royal Run 2020, H.K.H. Crown Prince of Greenland to kick off the Royal Run in the capital Nuuk."

Beautiful and sustainable design
Crown Prince Frederik has just presented the medal on the Royal's social media and it is made of zinc and seven centimeters in diameter.
Sustainability has also been envisaged in the medal, with the medal cord being woven from recycled plastic and smaller than in previous years to reduce the carbon
footprint.

Personale message from Frederik, Mary and children:
‘We have all in the family been looking forward to take on our running shoes for the Royal Run. However, due to the current situation with COVID-19/coronavirus, we unfortunately have to postpone this year's running party to September 6 in Denmark and August 30 in Greenland.
We would like to encourage all running people - young and old - to maintain the joy and enthusiasm for exercise, to follow the recommendations of the authorities and to have patience.
We all six hope that the Royal Run can become a major gathering after the summer holiday and that everyone will take care of themselves - and each other.“
And with a lovely new photo of the Crown Prince family:

 Were you equally surprised by the lack of "word for the Danes who have the Covid" in the statement about Joachim and Marie's return home yesterday? Or do you reserve that kind of fake outrage for Mary and Frederik specifically?

What a wonderful message- we must all look out for over selves and each other. Patience is key during these times.
Im glad that it was postponed and not cancelled all together. Im sure there will be more than one who is ready to run and run after this crisis.
Nice family picture as well, it's been awhile since we seen them all together so it's nice. Can't complain about the Frederik solo picture either

It is the general attitude of the Royal Family at this time.
Of course RIgshospitalet has special rooms for the Royal Family , France does not have. Therefore Prince Joachim decided to leave France for the hospitalisation of his Son Henrik. A shame for the French Doctors.
For Frederick and Mary I compared their attitude with my Royal Family.

Three things.
1) This was an information directed mainly at those who were to take part in Royal Run or attend the events. - There is no need to add a note to every message expressing sympathy for all the infected.
2) It has emerged today that Henrik has been undergoing treatment at Rigshospitalet for years. So it is IMO only natural that they choose to bring their son back to DK where he knows the doctors, nurses and surroundings and even though Henrik is probably good at French by now, explaining your medical condition in details would be a challenge even for adults.
Also, given the circumstances I think French doctors have plenty to do right now!
3) Given the circumstances I find this "my royal family is more compassionate than your royal family" in poor taste and to be honest offensive as well!

You clearly haven't seen the notice that Margrethe's birthday celebrations have been postponed due to COVID-19 or the Coronavirus fund the CP family are doing right now. I'd advise you to look on Kongehuset's website, Instagram and YouTube channels. Now is not the time for petty comparison games.

This is a nice note from Frederik regarding the royal run. That his family (Mary and the kids) are included is very much in line with the Royal Run being for all and that the CP family will be participating as well.
Some encouraging words of patience and taking care of each other.
On another note, Christian has grown, they all have of course, but Christian looks taller.

I was just going to say Prince Christian is growing so very fast and his facial features are changing all the time. Perhaps he will be as tall as mormor. Is that right? His grandmother.
To emphasise the point about running they placed the running shoes on the steps possibly for people like me who cannot read Danish but can understand what the topic is that they are trying to convey.
And I thought Queen Margrethe's speech about covid 19 was excellent. Her Majesty really inspires me.

Farmor actually.
Farmor = father's mother = Frederik's mother, QMII.
Mormor = mother's mother = Mary's late mother.
Bedstemor = grandmother or grandmother in general.
Farfar = father's father = Frederik's dad.
Morfar = mother's father = John Donaldson.
Bedstefar = grandfather or grandfather in general.
No need for despair as we have about a zillion names for family members in Danish. Beforehand we used to have even more!

Christian is already as tall as - or perhaps taller - than his father (1,83m) which means he is also taller than his farmor (1,80m)
Perhaps he is going to be as tall as his farmors farfar, Christian X. (2,01m) or his farmors far, Frederik IX. (1,98m). There were giants in this family, Margrethe and Frederik are quite small in comparison.

John Donaldson, Mary's brother John and sister Jane are also quite tall.

Yes Mary's family is quite tall too. I think Mary's mother, Henrietta, may not has been so tall. For when you see Mary with her father and siblings they are all tall except Mary and Patricia
So even though neither Frederik nor Mary fill much in the landscape, their children have good conditions for getting quite tall as most of their grandparents were / are tall people.

 Today, on a wonderful summer day in Denmark, Crown Prince Frederik's Royal Run 2020 was originally to be held.
It has become a huge folksy event in the Danish streets and again this year, up to 100,000 Danes were signed up to run together with Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary and their four children in the streets.
As we all know a pandemic named Covid-19 hit the world and Royal Run was postponed until September and later completely canceled, as it is too uncertain to be able to say when it is safe to gather so many thousands of people in the streets.
Let's take revenge next year!
I can almost promise that not only the Danes, but also Frederik, Mary and the children think it is a pity.
Me too. I, my husband and children should have run in Copenhagen.
It is also always a pleasure to experience Frederik, Mary and children SO CLOSE as we do during the Royal Run, and to hear the children being interviewed so casually during the day and all that we unfortunately gonna miss this year. And there happens quite a bit in a year with children.
Then it’s just to look forward to next year, Royal Run 2021. Now everyone has a year more to train, so it can only be good
This page takes today a look at some of the great highlights from Royal Run 2018 and 2019. Enjoy!

"Royal Run 2021 is postponed to 12 September
Due to the situation with COVID-19 in society, the Royal Run in Denmark is postponed from May to September. In Greenland, work is underway to find a new date.
In connection with the postponement, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince states, among other things: "I hope that many of you will use the time until 12 September to maintain the joy of exercise and running that Royal Run has already brought with it."
Running was therefore also on the program when the Crown Prince together with his two youngest children, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, this weekend was out for a walk in the winter weather.

I adore this family! Watching Frederik out running with Vincent and Josephine made me want to get out there! (despite it's midnight and I'm in my jammies). Great video to inspire everyone to keep active and ready for the Sept 12 Royal Run.

What a lovely morning video to announce that Royal Run must be postponed to September. Vincent and Josephine are cool and it's great to exercise with ones kids. You can almost feel the beautiful frosty weather in your cheeks. I think it's recorded in the park at Fredensborg, isn’t it?
And a great picture:
