Me either – I have been waiting for another trip overseas for a long time. I revisited the Australian thread yesterday. Just as a sort of warm up, isn't that silly...

You and I seem to be playing tag today, Madame Royale
And I'll say theres not. I love that they are traveling so far to promote Denmark, that it means beautiful clothes and jewellery, lots of photos, etc
I feel like such a sop. And yet I dont really care.
The anticipation is certainly building for me.

I can't wait seeing pics. I'm so curious what Mary will be wearing. I feel she will represent Denmark in a very elegant way.

I'm excited about this, although I don't think I'll see any photos in any newspapers around here, or that it'll make it on the news. I wish some royals would come to the World Dairy Expo so I could meet/see them.

It's 7 o'clock in the morning there right now.
Their first event is scheduled at 2.30pm.
So I guess no pictures until the evening, for some of us until tommorrow.

Our news coverage, or should I say non-coverage, really frustrates me. I had no idea they were even coming to NY untill today. But im glad there here!

I am a bit hurt that they skipped the Washington DC leg of the trade misions' US visit. Fred and Mary may think we're a bunch of cold, political bureaucrats, but we have feelings too.

Mary's coat is very elegant. I like her long earrings.
I wonderd if they took their two children with them. Any info?

Just Princess Isabella since she's still being breastfed. Prince Christian was left behind in Denmark.

Finally pictures ! Mary and Frederik look wonderful!
Mary is beautiful as always ..
Great coat, dress, shoes, and I wasn't too keen on the earrings first, but they lighten up the outfit
Frederik looks really good too .. They are SO lucky they are staying at the Mandarin Hotel in NY, that is really luxury
