I see Mary is wearing a shawl. How is the temperature in Mexico City at this time of year?

Mary on day 2; the dress is almost ugly, and I'm very surprised Mary should choose a dress like that!

I see the temperature in Mexico City today was 55 degrees Fahrenheit (which is, I believe, around 12 degrees Celsius. Definitely shawl weather.

Pretty cool.
It's 8-10 degrees C here in DK today, for comparison. So no wonder Mary wrapped the shawl around her.

Just seen Frederik and Mary in the morning news and it showed a clip of how many media there follows the visit. I would guess there was 40-50 photographers and journalists around them.

I saw somewhere a Mexican woman write this about M+F being in her country:
"It's exciting to see that my favorite royal couple is becoming increasingly popular in my country. There has been nothing but great comments and about M & F in Mexican media. I sure hope that the crown prince couple is enjoying Mexico as much as we are enjoying having them here."

Not higher, and I thought Mexico was warm and sunny all year round, but okay, I'm just a typical Dane who think all other countries than Denmark have sun and warmth the year round
But 12 degrees is not much and I understand Mary hugged her shawl. I do read that their first day was sunny and about 22 degrees

That's again a recycled dress, from the Olympic last year, I think.
Hope we will have more pictures from the dinner.

The legs of the Minister for Health, Astrid Kragh, are commonly known in DK as "kommodeben = commode-legs".
Don't get me wrong, even though my admiration for her is somewhat limited... it's only meant as a description and a cultural exchange.
ADDED: The serious paper Berlingske has a 13 pic gallery: http://www.b.dk/globalt/mary-og-fred...mexico#slide-1
That's an interesting sculpture in pic 12.

Could it be Rodin? It certainly reminds me of his work... How I wish European art would stay in Europe
But back to topic... Mary looked wonderful in her red dress. Her hairdresser has done a great job again! Watching the video, it occured to me that it must have been a very long day for F&M since neither of them speak Spanish. Most of the time they had to sit there and look interested. Glad it's not my job!
