Frederik's hair looks awful. A mess. But the princess lookes lovely.
I don't Frederik's hair is mess - but it sure does look awful. It's just a terrible old-fashioned cut that ages him; it makes his head look rather weird in proportions.

Danish Prince Frederick received the Chancellery of Chile's medal of merit in Santiago, Chile, 11 March 2013.

Belga picture

The News tonight showed that Mary began her speech today by welcoming in Spanish to some young schoolchildren. In my Danish ears it sounded good, but Mary herself laughed a bit after having said her Spanish phrases :D I hope TV2 later will publish the clip on their website.

Photos with the Mayor receiving the key to the city plus meeting some children. Love Mary's outfit, so elegant

Edit: I have deleted the link as it did not work.

When M+F are on official travel in Asia, for example, it is perfect when you live here in Denmark. The Asian time zone is hours before ours, so it almost feels like pictures from the couple's trip is published at the exactly same time as their program times in the calender :D When they are in the United States, Brazil or now in Chile it feels like I have to wait forever for new pictures due to the time difference :p Chile, for example, is 5 hours behind us. I've been up for hours now, but M+F's program today will first begin when it is almost evening here in Denmark.

Well I'm portuguese but I speak spanish, I was happy she tried to speak a few words in spanish, however she laughed because when she tried to say said "Niños" (it means boys but in this case it means children) she said "Ninos". The sound is diferent without the ñ.

Theres still no pictures from their visit at the Grundfos Industrial Park in Colina and reception yesterday evening?

Mary is starting right now the first engagement of the today.

Exactly. Thank you.
I smiled again when I saw Mary in the video, but I will let the Spanish members to judge whether she said the phrase correct. :p

lovely picture of Mary with the little girl

i like this one, both Frederik and Mary have a certain connection with kids

The new hairstyle makes Frederik young, I really like it!

re the crown princess' spanish skills, she said a very simple phrase "hola a todos los ninos". or 'hello to all the children', but was not well rehearsed so the gesture was no doubt appreciated while showing her lack of spanish:ermm:

From the little I follow Mary and Fred, I think of them as both shy introverts - so it might sound a little awkward, no matter how well rehearsed.

I agree they both seem to like kids, and let's face it - they have A LOT of experience there! ;)

Many Thanks to all who have posted links to the lovely photos.

two more pics, Frederik looks great

I agree. They both seem shy, Mary hides this better than Frederik :)
but both have done so well so far
i feel they really shine in these type of official tours
