CP Frederik with Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine past from the Empassy of Ukraine today:

"It is infinitely sad what we are experiencing in Europe right now, and it is heartbreaking to follow the situation in Ukraine. My family and I are deeply touched by the images and stories we witness daily. It makes a very big impression. Fortunately, we can also tell our children about the unity that the rest of Europe and the world community are showing the Ukrainian people, and about the great relief work that is going on. It is important that we maintain hope and share the good that also happens in the midst of all the cruel. Before starting school this morning, my youngest children and I made our way past the Ukrainian embassy.

On behalf of my family, I send the warmest thoughts to the Ukrainian people

- The Crown Prince."

Very commendable indeed.
And Frederik won't hear anything for this.

There have only been a few meek attempts of also blaming Ukraine from the extreme left of the the extreme left. And they are being whacked on the head by everybody else on the extreme left.
- Ironically actually, as Putin is anything but a Communist. Or Marxist or Maoist. (Yes, and we also have a handful of Trotskists as well. They are quite charming and amusing to listen to, like a living museum.)

And then there have been a nutjob or two on the xenophobic right wing, who have had problems forgetting the admiration for the Russian Füh... I mean "strong man." - They would so much like to have a strong man of their own.

I wonder will Mary and Frederick and family make a visit to Australia - most likely private within the next year.

Due to covid, she hasn't been back to her homeland in years and I am sure she is eager to get back and see her family and friends

I must admit I am waiting patiently for that announcement or perhaps her family will visit them with Princess Isabella's Confirmation seeing that they missed Prince Christian's Confirmation...waiting with bated breath.

I'm glad she could finally make it to Australia. She must have missed seeing friends and family.
And it's good to see that she, at least until now, is able to go about unnoticed.
I suspect that is over now, as I understood from the article that she is heading for Tasmania.

According to the court she is heading/already back in Denmark.
Glad she had some quiet time with family and friends in Australia.

"Crown Princess Mary has been visiting Australia and has left Australia again.
This is confirmed by the Royal House's communications department to the Ritzau."

While already on her way back, the dailymail found some more photos of her stay and funnily writes: "Have you seen Mary? Send your pictures to carina.stathis@mailonline.com"

Crown Prince Frederik was on a sleigh ride in northeastern Greenland a couple of days agao:

The sleigh ride was the Armed Forces' official gift for Crown Prince Frederik's 50th birthday in 2018, but had not been completed yet to the Corona situation.
"In 2000 - over four months - the Crown Prince traveled a 2,795 kilometer long sleigh expedition from Qaanaaq in North Greenland to Daneborg in Northeast Greenland with the Sled Patrol Sirius. The task of the patrol is to enforce the sovereignty of the Commonwealth over Northeast Greenland".

The Palace shared some photos today:

What a great gift from the Armed Forces. And lovely photos shared by Frederik.

Last weekend Mary and Frederik attended their good friend's, Birgitte Handwerk, 50th birthday.

Cousin Gustav and Carina also attended.

Mary won an equestrian competition Saturday, riding her thirteen year old Edelman.

https://www.ridehesten.com/nyheder/k...-skamlen/94227

And this is for the experts here on TRF. Mary competed in MA1 at a C-competition. (I.e. a district competition.)
She is competing for Frederiksværk Rideklub (equestrian club.)

So far Mary has started as MB0 and MB1 but yesterday she started out at higher level.
I have absolutely no idea what these categories mean.

Her trainer (and the club trainer as well) is Karin Nissen.

- As the competition season ends at the time of the Hubertus hunt, I understand, I suggest our newsdiggers keep an eye on this site at the end of the weekends: ridehesten.dk

ADDED:
Making a guess based on the calendar here:
https://www.ridehesten.com/kalender

I suggest keeping an eye on 2-5 June.

And on the occasion a poll has been published today. It was made by YouGov in January.
https://www.bt.dk/royale/kronprins-f...de-sig-han-var
Scroll down to grey box.
The figures represent those who believe the person is doing "well" and "very well."
As you can tell M&F and QMII are the absolute super stars in how they are rated.

- The rest of the article is basically how Frederik has evolved from a less popular Crown Prince to now being very popular. And how he has evolved as a person and grown into his role, not least after marrying Mary.

Thanks for the article. Nice to see Frederik and Mary at the top of that list! That's the good part of the article and a couple of points as well. The rest of the article....It is BT after all...that is all I say on that.

Good to see Frederik and Mary at the top of the leaderboard! They deserve it for all their hard work and commitment. Mary has said that Frederik gave her peace when she moved to Denmark but there is no doubt that Mary has given Frederik support, confidence, love and the family he craved for by being as she has said “just being herself”. They are obviously devoted to each other and to Denmark. Bravo!

Crown Prince Frederik participates in the bike race Tour de Storebælt today, June 11:

The Tour de Storebælt, as today's bike race is called, is for me 100 km and starts in Kalundborg and ends with a beautiful trip over the Great Belt Bridge before we reach the finish line in Nyborg. It will no doubt be a huge experience.
