That's a high score on the cuteness scale. - And just what we need.
Of course as a result of Omikorn taking over the schools closed for Christmas Wednesday, albeit with at least some online schooling, the three youngest are home.
Christian is attending high school and they have not been closed down - yet.
But they have to be tested several times a week.
So there should be plenty of time to play with, cuddle and walk the puppies in the garden behind Amalienborg. - Grace can rest all she want.

I find it hard to imagine the Crown Princely Couple and children giving those pups away.

Is there any news on CP Mary? Hoping that she isn't feeling too poorly.
The puppies are adorable!

Nothing.
But no news is good news.
Because it means Mary has not been hospitalized, nor that other members of her family have been infected as well.

I agree that would be one tough job trying to give away those puppies. They are so super cute.

Wonderful article about Frederik and his hard work to get the Tour de France to Denmark.
https://www.bt.dk/tour-de-france/kro...-hele-middagen
But the man standing on stage was anything but a royal wreath-cake figure who had simply been sent to work to convey a message.
It was the culmination of a secret and demanding effort that the Crown Prince has been deeply involved in for years to bring the world's largest cycling race to Denmark.
'The first official he attended was at the route presentation on October 14 last year. But the Crown Prince was part of the lobbying effort long before it became official."
The man who had helped convince Christian Prudhomme was Crown Prince Frederik, who during the meeting had turned up the French charm..........
The 2022 Tour de France begins in Copenhagen on Friday 1 July with a time trial of 13 kilometres. Subsequently, two stages await, Roskilde to Nyborg and Vejle to Sønderborg, before the world's best cyclists jump in a plane towards northern France.

Great article about Crown Prince Frederik's work in bringing the Tour de France to Denmark. Also complementary that Frederik spoke French. Well done!!

I'm cringing a little at the thought of these beautiful historic pieces being auctioned off If they are just sitting in storage then I suppose that's the thing to do. Muhler, do you know if the $$ made from the auction goes to the DRF? How does this work?

Se & Hør reports that while his parents went to Verbier in Switzerland, Christian went with his high school to Val Thorens in the French Alps and partied the week away. Not least at the club, La Folie Douce, that is well frequented by children of the jet set.
It was noted that a lovely brunette buzzed around Christian.

Didn't M&F use this table for a brief period before it was replaced by their current and much larger dinner table, which was a wedding present?

A former PET officer, who was a protection officer for 30 years, including for the DRF, has written a book about his life as bodyguard and that includes a number of anecdotes about M&F.
https://www.bt.dk/royale/livvagt-afs...paakoerte-mary
It's no secret that Frederik in his youth sometimes ditched his bodyguards and made a run for it. (I've written about that here on TRF, in one of the portrait books IIRC.)
Frederik changed a lot from how he behaved in his youth, in the army, going on roadtrips (Australia and USA springs to mind.) and after he got married, became a family man and in earnest prepared for taking over from QMII.
But being a protection officer also means that you can goof. Goof badly!
Back in 2014 he escorted Mary who was taking Christian to school:
"It was raining heavily and as usual I was close to in the car to cover the VIP-vehicle and avoid that other cars pushed in behind, which would increase our distance (to Mary). Suddenly the Crown Princess breaked for yellow in the cross section at Tuborgvej (a road), where I didn't have time to react. The light Tesla of aluminum had a shorter breaking distance than my heavy Land Rover, especially on the slippery road.
I couldn't escape from the fact that I for the first time in my career had run into my own VIP. Several thoughts went through my mind, but first and foremost whether something had happened to her."
There were lots of curious Danes, who saw the incident and the mobiles came out at once, while he tried to get to the assistance of Crown Princess Mary.
"Then we had to pull over and I apologized and made sure she hadn't been injured, but noticed at the same time that she didn't look particularly pleased when she inspected the rear-end of the car. I myself was immeasurably embarrassed."
- Never heard about that incident before.
Anyway, we shouldn't expect too many details in regards to too personal and saucy details about the DRF. Former PET people who write about their work, usually clear it with PET first, otherwise they risk being hit by the big hammer, which has happened on occasion.

Love this anecdote a lot. Something I had never once considered.
