Sharing the place is perhaps better. Because in the recent documentary, she expressed how very fond she is of the place.
Benedikte is also very fond of Gråsten.

And if we consider a vacation period of two months, from late June to mid August, there should be plenty of time for QMII to be at Gråsten without having grandchildren running around all over the place.
So I guess they will overlap for a week or two at the most.

But it's great that M&F and children will spend a couple of weeks or so at Gråsten, because that means a steady trickle of photos. Something we wouldn't get if they went to Trend the whole summer, or abroad.

I think it's great the family all have a nice cosy summer get together at least once a year.

Not yet. I guess we will have a date in a couple of weeks.
But of course the local news will notice when M&F arrive, so we will get pics prior to the official shoot I'm sure.

As you know the summer vacation season has started...

And according to the local news paper The Crown Prince Family have now arrived to Gråsten Palace where they will spend 3 weeks of their summer holiday

Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik are expected to arrive on 15th July and spend the last week together with the Crown Prince Family.

Good news. Hope they have a great vacation there.

As long as M&F are on private ground their privacy is protected by law. But I guess there will be a trickle of photos when they go for a morning run or cycle around.

There is to be a ring-rider procession this year again I guess?

Yes, the ring-rider procession will be held on Sunday 17th July at 15.30. This will be in the Crown Prince Family third week on Gråsten Palace, so I guess we can expect the family's summer photo session to be held around this date, or a few days later, as well.

It is nice to hear that the CP family are at Gråsten, I hope they have a nice summer there. I'll be looking forward into the big photocall!

It's nice to read that they are in Gråsten, perfect for this outdoorsy and horseback riding family. Last year we got a few photos of them on their bikes to the horse stables but other than that they were pretty much left alone. One or two sightings but respected

With just a little luck we may get more glimpses of M&F (and the rest of the DRF) than we expected.
Throughout July the town of Gråsten will mark that Gråsten Slot has been the DRF summer-residence for 80 years. (Technically not entirely correct, because there were a couple of years during the Occupation when Gråsten was a German lazaret (military hospital).
Anyway tomorrow an exhibition will open about and Gråsten and the DRF and from then on there will be various events ending in a celebratory service in Gråsten Chapel on 31st July. And as QMII almost always go to church on Sundays...

It's great to hear they are having a nice bright summer. Its also nice to see some of Mary's photography work. Personally, I dont think her pictures are anything special, they are her perspective view and it's always interesting to see other peoples view and attention to details.

It seems that the CP family are having a nice time on their summer holiday. I liked the photos taken by Mary, she appears to be a good photographer - IIRC she has taken some of the children's photos before, though I could be thinking of someone else here.

Some local children who have attend a summer riding camp at Gråsten Riding club this weekend says they have been riding together with Christian, Bella, Vincent and Josephine at the Gråsten Riding club. Also Mary have spotted riding some hours in the club.

It's nice that although we sometimes get pictures, the majority of the time they are left alone. I think they have come to enjoy and love Gråsten.
