 How does she appear shorter?
We got the "historical" background earlier this year and now we get a simple grey background... I think i like the historical background better.
But in both Frederik and Mary appear very elegant and regal.
and Frederik with his new uniform 
Waiting patiently for next month, hopefully we get pictures for Christian's 10th birthday

I like the new photos of Frederik and Mary in general, Mary looks particularly regal in them. My only complaint is that the photos look photoshopped (to me) as if the photo of Mary and Frederik has been taken from another setting and placed onto the white background.

The new pictures aren't too flattering. The angles and lighting seem harsh and dont do either of them any favours. I also wonder why none of even the best photographers working today can't take a set of pictures without making the Photoshopping and editing glaringly obvious. How is it that photos from the 60s and even earlier almost always look better?

You can still see wrinkles on both and they still look like themselves .
Flattering photos as I can't believe they are in their mid and late 40s.

It is from 2006 (during a funeral in Russia) where our Mary become so sick with morning sickness that she quite pale had to leave the funeral before the end (you can almost see it in the picture). The Danish media was sure - Mary was pregnant. Less than a month later the Royal Court could happily announce that, yes Mary was pregnant and expected her and Frederik's second child  6 months later Bella arrived.
The royals are just people like you and me. And morning sickness during pregnancy doesn't care whether you're royal or not.

There was a little incident after the ceremony, when all the royals had left. A poor Danish official was accidently knocked into the hole and had to be helped out. Poor Chap.

Older yes, but still younger than Mary
Mary was so nervous and at the same time very charming because of her spontaneity. Now her image is more polished, more professional - like it is the case for all crown princesses/queens of her generation.
I had forgotten what a busy day it was... She must have slept very little the night before and like a rock the night after

I remember that story. M&F were dancing alone for several minutes before someone eventually joined them on the dance floor.
