AUSTRALIA MAGAZINES: WOMAN'S DAY + NEW IDEA
Woman's Day: There saying that Mary's "BABY DREAM" is shatters as she (Mary) and Frederick struggle to concieve a child a second time. It just talks about Mary seeking help from British fertility specialists and comparing her to Princess Diana (how just like Diana who had a lot of stress put on her to produce another 'spare' for the throne) the same thing is happening to Mary and how because of the stress to produce another child is ruining that chance of concieiving another child. It also says that Mary desperatly wants a girl and how it hurts her whenever she looks at Federick spending time with Christian because she knows that he wants another child to. Talks about how fatherhood has changed Federick and his visit to a kindergarten.
New Idea: Mary is not on the cover of this issue of New Idea.
Talks about the similarities/the things that CP Mary and CP Mette-Marit of Norway have in common (AUSTRALIA). It has pictures of when Mette-Marit was young living in Australia (I think she did a student -exchange). I havn't read all the article yet but it looks intresting.

Wasn't it mentioned previously (by this I mean before we found out Mary was pregnant with Christian) that she had received treatment from a British clinic before conceiving Christian?
It's amazing how they change their "facts" to suit their stories.....

Playboy??
Quote:
Kidman terrific for 'Playboy': Hefner
She may be nearly 40, but Nicole Kidman would be Hugh Hefner's top pick of Australians to feature in international men's mag Playboy.
And what of Australia's own Princess Mary?
Hefner's deemed her "too ladylike" for the magazine he founded in a candid interview with New Idea magazine
She looks like a nice woman, but this outfit isn't sexy at all," Hefner said, referring to a recent photo of Princess Mary.

The September issue of the Australian Women's Weekly features Mary on the cover with the title 'Royal Exclusive - Mary Forced to put her Baby Dream on Hold'.
http://s2.supload.com/free/womenswee...mary.jpg/view/
There is also an excerpt from the article on the AWW website:
Mary's dilemma: duty or desire
Denmark’s long, lazy days of summer will soon be drawing to a close, and for Crown Princess Mary, wife of one future king and mother of another, the first whiff of a sterner reality hangs in the air.
At Grasten Palace, the royal family’s favourite summer residence, the Australian-born princess has recently enjoyed an idyllic stay with her husband Crown Prince Frederik and 10-month-old son, Christian. Yet while Mary’s happiness and buoyant popularity are apparent to everyone, there are concerns in royal circles that — rather sooner than intended — she may have to step up to a more prominent role in royal affairs. The apprehension centres on the health of 66-year-old Queen Margrethe and, to a lesser extent that of her husband, Prince Henrik. In May, the Queen underwent a knee replacement, and although the surgery was judged a success, she has spent much of the time since on crutches or in a wheelchair, looking tired and sometimes to be in pain. A heavy smoker, the Queen has often been chided — not least by her own family — for neglecting her health, and while there may be no serious concerns, few expect Margrethe to resume a full roster of public duties.
The main jist of the article is that the palace is forcing Mary to forego having any more children right now in favour of doing more duties
All from the AWW website

This weeks new issue of Woman's Day

this week is going to be busy so whenever i have time i'll write a bit on what the article is about, but judging by the cover, it's about some evil plan that people in denmark are coming up with to drive mary out of denmark. sounds crazy . unless someone else would like to write a bit about the article

Mary remains one of the biggest sellers of womens magazines in Australia and is very often on the front covers. Interest has eased but it has not decreased.

...it's about mary being a "fashion dictator" and a minority of danes are trying to "push her out of denmark". this minority of people have also spread some rumours that cp frederick is resorting back to his "old ways" (cp frederick is currently in the u.s. [competition thingy]). a couple of paragraphs are about her visit last week to a "ghetto" place in denmark (i saw the coverage of it on channel 10 news last week, at night. the kids absolutly adore her and mary is really nice. i have no idea how some people in denmark could do that to her. ha, i guess i'm not helping much by writing what the article is about.). says that hhp alexandra worked alot harder at her charity work than what mary does now. it also says that the danes think that amber petty is a pig lady and is an unsuitable person to be a friend of a future queen (i was listening to the fox (local radio in australia) and they had amber petty on the phone this morning and she said that its a realy nasty magazine in denmark (making these reports about mary) worse than NW. she said that the mag in denmark was trying to get channel seven to release some pics/footage of her holding a pig but ch 7 wouldn't agree. then they pretty much joked for about 3 minutes about a spring fashion show in melbourne [ and then i had to leave and go to school ].

Hmm...sounds odd. Did they say what magazine it was? I really havent heard anything about this...The most critical at the moment is the Daily Tabloid Ekstra Bladet who has done some pretty nasty articles over the summer. But they seam to focus mostly of the cost of the royal family and I really doubt that a story like that would go over very well here...Push Mary out of Denmark...

Mary is the cover story in this week's Women's Day
http://s2.supload.com/free/cover_main_39.jpg/view/
Princess Mary betrayed: enemies in the palace shatter her fairytale
Princess Mary has been betrayed by a group of spiteful critics who are determined to undermine her position in Denmark. Palace insiders say she is heartbroken by vicious claims that her husband, Prince Frederik, is doing more than just sailing in America. Forced to flee Denmark for America to be by her husband's side, friends say it's no wonder the princess dreams of what it would be like to come home and have a normal life.

It's fascinating if you compare the stories of these yellow press mags with the information you get from these forums. It's so different! And the stories that are written are always so negative, as if the magazines have nothing else to do but cater to their reader's jealousies and envy. In addition they catch the readers who care for the Royal person by alerting to an "emergency" that doesn't exist.... It's clear what the motives are, but still: is it so impossible to write that Mary looks good, does a good job and enjoys her life at her prince's side on showing the latest pics?

I also think princess Mary is very happy, but I thin too that her husband should be with her more often in Public events? Why he doesn't go with her to all these Public events? se I also think that her popularity is bigger than his.

So they are trying to say that Fred is having an affair with someone in America? IF he is doing that, which i dont think he is, then he does NOT deserve Mary. If he is cheating on her, then i think Mary married beneath her. But fred seems a good guy- he wouldnt do it

I highly doubt Fred is cheating on Mary. Tabloid stories are often 100% false, and I think this is a case where the press are just making something up to sell magazines.

How do these people get away with writing such utter garbage? It truly boggles my mind.

If Mary is reading these magazines I think she'll go mad. Negative articles are sometimes the biggest factor in contributing to broken relationships. I'm not saying that Fred is cheating on her but these kind of articles I think can dampen their relationship since they are public figures. No matter how they try to ignore these stories, it will haunt them.. That's just the way tabloid stories are.

I should hope that Mary had the good sense not to read this trash, but if she does....even out of sheer boredom, I should hope that she recognizes it as trash and treats it accordingly.
