I think CP Frederik is very proud of his wife's first solo official visit overseas. Moreover Queen Margrethe just had a hernia operation and CP Frederik will be acting Regent while HM is recuperating.

Part of the article from the International Herald Tribune Europe.
CPs Mary is guest of Livia Klausova, the wife of President Vaclav Klaus.:)

I wish she wouldn't wear that suit so often - IMHO she looks like my granny in it - and I could be Mary's mother.... :)

I think it looks lovely...while admitting that perhaps the cut of it doesn't do her justice.

I like the skirt... but with the jacket it looks indeed a bit oldfashioned. :ermm:

anyway she looks lovely and elegant as usual.

I've always like the suit, it fits her quite nicely. That being said, it's disappointing that she's wearing an old and well-worn suit for this visit. She should've worn something new and special for an official visit abroad.

A few more photos from PPE:

I love the suit Mary is wearing, the colour really suits her I think. I haven't seen this outfit before. It looks comfortable.

Oh, I agree crisscross1 :flowers:

This outfit has been recycled a few times and is actually the suit Mary wears in the portrait painted by the Paris based Australian artist, Ralph Heimans.

I think it fits the ocassion, a bit old fashion yes but yet elegant and that is the most important.

Really? I hadn't noticed! I guess I'm blind!;)

But I still like this outfit...even if she's worn it several times before. I love the skirt! The jacket...hmmm...the cut of the jacket is fine but I think the shoulder pads are too prominent, they should be a little less padded. IMO that's what gives it the "granny" look. It just makes her look older. :flowers:

I'm glad to see that she has enhanced the color of her hair and made it a rich warm color rather than just "dark brown". It was too dark for her white complexion.
With the richness of her hair color, and her makeup, and the color of her suit, she looks very "warm nd healthy" rather than "cold" and "hard".

Absolutely perfect for a daytime working engagement. Not too high a heels, shirt not too short, beautiful Fall suit, hair curled, just the right make-up, just pearl earrings, neutral hose.
She is a classy lady.

I hope that the weather in Prague isn't hot like in Poland (Czech Republic is our south neighbour), beacuse this lovely suit looks too warm for me. I like her make-up and glasses.

I'm going to guess that none of the posters here really know CP Mary's beauty regimen, but has her skin tone changed since moving from Australia about 5 years or so ago? I mean, her skin looks very smooth, even-toned and she's glowing! I noticed that she wear big hats most of the time..

Um, I know this has nothing to do with Mary's appearance, but I like the bouquet they gave her! I think the wife of Czech Republic's President Livia Klausova also has the same one...right?

Rarotonga, yes, I've noticed that her skin color is alot more smoother. I'm guessing it has to do with the enviroment in Denmark. It must not be as humid and hot, or sunny, as in Australia (I'm guessing here as I've never been to either of these places). Also, it seems like she's gotten paler...Or it could all be product of her excellent make-up! I've read that she uses mineral make-up and that stuff works. I've used mineral make-up (though not the same brand as Mary as I can't afford it) and it really does work!

O.k back to subject....:flowers:

Mary looks stunning, I like the suit, it fits the occasion nicely- not too 'showy'. She is very pretty :flowers:

Wow! What a pretty dress! The color really compliments Mary's coloring!
Are those new earrings she's wearing?...:flowers:

beautiful, she's glowing-love the flowers and the dress

The colour of the dress is amazing on her, but her arms look very muscly. She is obviously picking up that growing Prince a lot ..or she's working out at the gym!

A beautiful dress! Red suits her alot!
Great pictures of the Visit so far!

That's what money and professional skin care will do for you! I knew a guuy who was drafted into the NBA who had HORRIBLE skin. His skin is as smooth as a baby's bottom now. I think Mary looks great. I love her transformation.

Mary looks absolutely gorgeous during this visit. I really like the orange color of the dress. It makes her features stand out.

Wow

She looks FABULOUS. Is this a new dress? I don't recall seeing it before.

WOW!!! What a beautiful dress! I love it and the Orange color looks wonderful on Mary.

Mary looks very beautiful, fresh, elegant, radiant and glowing!

The dress is new but the outfit she wore during the day has been recycled several times. :flowers:
