What basis do you make these statements? Australia’s education system is world class , that is why so many overseas students complete degrees in Australia. Everything else you said is your Ill informed opinion which I disagree completely.

Indeed. Over the years we have come to know, respect and like Marg for her inputs.
It would be totally out of character for her to flame anyone, let alone Mary and her family.
And those of us who know Marg also know that she has a wicked sense of humor.

I think you'll like it here, Kenneth.butler. People here on TRF are civilized also when posting about people they are perhaps not that keen on - those who are not usually don't last long.

Indeed, Australia has a world-class education system and much better than in Argentina or in Spain where Máxima and Letizia got their degrees. Having said that, I agree that Mary came from an ordinary middle-class family (her father was a respected university professor) while Máxima is from a family who, if Argentina were not a republic, would be the local equivalent to the landed nobility in Europe.

Education and Career of Crown Princess Mary:
Mary schooling began in 1974 and 1975 at Clear Lake City Elementary School in Houston, Texas. Returning to Hobart, she attended Sandy Bay Infants School from 1975 to 1977. From 1978 until 1982, Mary attended Waimea Heights Primary School. Mary attended Taroona High School from 1983 to 1986 and then during the next two years continued her studies at Hobart Matriculation College, where she was also an active sportswoman.

She enrolled at the University of Tasmania in 1989 and graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Law (B Com. LLB).
Between 1994 and 1996, Mary qualified for a Certificate in Advertising from The Advertising Federation of Australia (AFA) and later a Certificate in Direct Marketing from the Australian Direct Marketing Association.

Upon graduation she moved to Melbourne to work in advertising. She became a trainee in marketing and communications with the Melbourne office of DDB Needham, taking a position of account executive. In 1996, she was employed by Mojo Partners as an account manager.

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation made a four part … each episode about 26 minutes … documentary about some independent Apple businesses trying to merge into a mega business.

Everyone involved basically crashed and burned.

Even Love did not make any money from their involvement, hardly getting paid for their services.

This happened in May 2000, a few months before Mary and Frederick met at the Sydney Olympics.

It is a good documentary even without the Mary-spotting.
