Pity the kids didn't attend, they would've enjoyed it IMO.

So the 4th there won't be any events? I thought she would have an event or two when she reaches. June 5 is a very relaxing day for Mary, June 6 looks quite busy. Seems the 7th would be a private visit or I wonder if she will return early to Copenhagen.

I guess June 5 and 7 are meant as the arrival and departure days.

I am guessing, that sailing to and from Saqqaq takes time too.
Added: About 5 hours both ways.

Is it?
What I read is, it's a 6 - 7 hour long flight. Depends when the departure of the aeroplane was, there might be no time for an event, neither the 4th nor the 7th and also not much private time left.

I thought it was a 1-2 hour flight.
Article of today's transportation for Mary, Apparently it was planned that she would sail 100km but because of all the ice they will travel by a Navy patrol 71 meter boat which will take up to 5 hours. On her way back, Mary will travel on a helicopter.

LOL, no dazzling and I was wrong as well, it's even worse.
She travelled from Copenhagen to Kangerlussuaq (4,5 hours flight time) and from there on another plane to Ilulissat - the travel time was around 9 hours.

The lack of substantial coverage of Mary's trip to Greenland is pretty frustrating. I'm not sure why we're not getting more pictures, reports, etc.

Tell me about it. I thought there would be much better coverage. I wonder if later today we would suddenly get all the galleries of pictures.

I'm also pretty fed up with the bad coverage, but I hope that Billedbladet will feature somekind of coverage in tomorrows magazine.
I love the pictures of Mary visiting the kindergarten in Saqqug. I think it's really nice that they're bringing Fri for Mobberi to Greenland too, I have a niece who's in a kindergarten that use the program, apparently it's very good.
Is there any chance that we'll get to see Mary in her national costume of Greenland? I do love their national costumes.
