"From today, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince can call himself an honorary member of the Yacht Club de France. The yacht club is the oldest yacht club in France and has for more than 150 years been a central player in French sailing, both when it comes to yachting and racing

The official admission took place at a ceremony at the French Embassy in Copenhagen, where Chairman of the Yacht Club de France Philippe Héral presented the Crown Prince with proof of his honorary membership.

The Crown Prince, who is a keen sailor himself, already has a number of yacht clubs on the list of honorary memberships, including the Royal Danish Yacht Club, the Royal Norwegian Sailing Association, The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania and the Royal Swedish Segelsällskapet."

The research park DTU Science Park was visited today by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.

Here, the Crown Prince met participating companies in this year's Danish Tech Challenge, where 20 hardware startups test their businesses while also receiving help to develop. The companies that the Crown Prince met are currently working with solutions for everything from sensor technology in swimwear to nano-sized 3D printing.

The growth course Danish Tech Challenge focuses on business and product development. At the same time, it is also a competition, where the final winner receives the Industriens Fonds Entrepreneur Award and a prize of DKK 500,000.

"Every year His Royal Highness the Crown Prince gathers the DenmarkBridge association for a network meeting and subsequent dinner in Frederik VIII's Palace at Amalienborg.

The Crown Prince is patron of DenmarkBridge, which brings together a number of Danish companies and entrepreneurs with an interest in technology development. The association must give the members an insight into different business models as well as the opportunity to build and strengthen their cooperation across the Atlantic.

At this evening's network meeting at Amalienborg, Margrethe Vestager, who is currently on leave as Senior Vice-President of the EU Commission, spoke about her analysis of the technological society in 2023. Margrethe Vestager was interviewed by DenmarkBridge board member Connie Hedegaard."
