Frederik will be, from September 8 to the 10th, in San Francisco, Califotnia attending the DenmarkBridge CEO summit.
The*Crown Prince is patron of the DenmarkBridge association, which aims to provide Danish companies and entrepreneurs better access to knowledge, networks and capital in Silicon Valley, California.

Yes, Frederik will basically be the "door-opener" for the new Minister of Commerce.

A Crown Prince carry more weight and will protocol-wise be met at a higher level, than a mere minister for a small country. Especially an inexperienced minister.

The Crown Prince makes a visit to the Red Cross as a patron.

The Red Cross is an international organization working to provide relief to people around the world. The organization has approximately 17 million volunteers worldwide and 32,000 volunteers in Denmark. The Crown Prince has been the patron of the organization since October 2018.

The visit was a work visit, so the crown prince as patron has the best insight into what we're working on all over the world.
After an initial coffee chat with cookies, the crown prince spoke to two emergency aid workers via Skype.
The Crown Prince was particularly concerned about how the red cross enforce its principle of neutrality in war and conflict situations.
The Two-hour visit ended in the basement.
It may sound a bit dark, but it certainly wasn't.
In the basement under the red cross there is an interactive exhibition that through various experience zones gives the visitor insight into what it's like to be a child in an exposed family to what it's like to be in jail.

Today it was announced that His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, together with the Danish Export Association, has initiated the "HRH Crown Prince Frederik International Business Awards".
The prize will be awarded for the first time in August 2020 and will honour companies or individuals who have made a special effort to promote sustainable Danish solutions globally.*In the future, the HRH Crown Prince Frederik International Business Awards will be awarded once a year in the categories: Business Excellence, Green Solutions and Newcomer of The Year.
His Royal Highness is the chairman of the jury, which consists of a number of top people from Danish export companies.

“Danish companies have products and solutions that contribute to promoting the sustainable agenda internationally.*The award honours the very special efforts that both established and new Danish companies deliver ”, the Crown Prince states in connection with the publication.

"HRH Crown Prince Frederik International Business Awards" is an extension of the Royal House's long-standing efforts to promote Danish business interests - an effort that Prince Henrik made clear more than 35 years ago with the "Export Association's Diploma" and "H.R.H. Prince Henrik's Medal of Honor ”.

The award ceremony will take place on August 27 at Amalienborg.

The Crown Prince was on Friday, January 31, 2020, as patron, the official opening of HCØ2020 in Industriens Hus, Copenhagen.

This year is 200 years since the Danish physicist Hans Christian Ørsted discovered electromagnetism, and in 2020 it will be marked by a series of events under the joint designation HCØ2020.

Frederik and Mary have several official events again today, but after today it looks like (if you take a look in the royal calender) as both Frederik and Mary are returning home to the children and their cabin in Switzerland. At least no official events the next two weeks, and I hope it. Winter holiday is in week 7 here in Denmark where many thing are closed down anyway. We will see.
