I've just clicked on the live link on DK and it's now working! I'm now spoilt for choice (am also trying to watch a cricket test match especially as England has made a bit of a recovery, lol!)

I am happy to see that Hereditary Prince Alois and Hereditary Princess Sophie are attending the gala too. Princess Sophie should be styled "Royal Highness" though as a member of the Royal House of Bavaria and not "Serene Highness" like her husband. The styles "Queen Máxima of the Netherlands" and "Queen Mathilde of the Belgians" are also technically incorrect, but it is pointless to argue against that practice since it seems to be widespread, not only in Denmark, but in other courts too.

The next guest to arrive from now on are the royals, from current monarchies.

The arrivals are extremely messy. Prince Gustav and Patricia Bailey arrived in the middle of politicians and friends. Usually there's some sort of order to it, right?

Gotta love Christian Eugen-Olsen – "Princess Alexandra of Berleburg... and Egeskov"

Took a look at the guest list. Notable absences are Princess Elisabeth of Denmark, Princess Nathalie of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, Carina Axelsson as well as Princess Alexia, Prince Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana of Greece and Denmark. Patricia Bailey seems to be the sole Donaldson representative. So thrilled to see Prince Nikolai, King Constantine and Countess Alexandra on there though.

Oh yes.

If the politicians - including our PM - can figure out to arrive on schedule...

The carriage is moving!

It works! Thank you!!!

Just on time to see them in the carriage, with the newly acquired antique tiara.

It seemed MC was not wearing a tiara at all btw? But her daughter is wearing the fringe.

Impressive that there are so many non-royal tiaras to be seen btw.

The majority of the hussars today are women.

Those with red svejf (head adornment that is meant to resemble a mane) are trumpeters - i.e. signalmen.

------------------

Frederik is wearing the gala uniform of an rear admiral.

------------------

Further royals are arriving. I guess BB and BT are covering that?

--------------------------

The foreign royals will assemble in a room for themselves. Prior to meeting M&F.

----------------------

That's one serious bouquet Frederik got from Hotel D'Angleterre!

Now the pauker-horse has joined in.

Mette-Marit has got" the Elephant"!!! I had no clue...

Unlike his young uncle Philippos, Const. Alexios got the "Order of the Redeemer" straight when he became 18, Ph. some years later.

But how strange Pr. Nikolai doesn´t wear a sash...?! Thought every Prince and Prcss of Denmark receiving the "Elephant" when coming of age!
