Hereditary Grand Duke Giullaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie.
Haakon and Mette-Marit.
Victoria and Daniel.
No mentioning of the Greeks, but I'd be surprised if they don't show up in force.

Marie Chantal and Pavlos are in Copenhagen along with their two eldest children. MC posted a photo of them walking in front of Amalienborg Slot today so it is safe to assume they will attend the big celebration.

And we should not rule out Queen Anne-Marie.
King Konstantin is perhaps getting too frail for such events.
I have a distinct feeling Mary's family will be present at the official gala tonight. That's a nice touch, Mary's family after all also means a lot to Frederik.
If not I bet most of Frederik's closer friends and Mary's family will be present at the show tomorrow.

frederik does not look like himself in the painting. it is a shame, rather than the focus on the background i would have preferred if the artists focused more on getting frederik right since this is a painting for his 50th birthday!

There a lovely photo of Frederick.
I’m very surprised at Edward and Sophie not attending as they often attend family birthdays. Maybe they’re just not on the list but are actually invited. They attended WA’s 50th but I’m sure it wasn’t announced beforehand.

This should interest quite a lot among you!
Mary is publishing a book with photos from Frederik's life for the past 25 years.
They include official photos as well as private photos made by herself.
The book has been made in co-operation with four photographers, who have also contributed to the book.
This is the cover of the book: https://tv2i.dk/users/editorial/imag...213fd4e2147e80
This is one of Mary's photos and in the caption she writes: We are at Trend. I thought it looked really cool when they jumped. I had them do it a couple of time in order to capture it and I'm glad it succeeded. I like that the fouus is sharp. There is a good contrast between the perfect blue sky andthe heath with heather.

There are a lot of stills in the video.
I'll add more info on the book as soon as I got it.
This is the publisher: https://www.lindhardtogringhof.dk/
I guess they will publish more details later today.

I wonder if I can get a volunteer outside Denmark, to try and create a (free) account on DR1 and then try and log in, to see the live feed from DR1.
Here you create your account: https://www.dr.dk/login/account/crea...v%2Flive%2Fdr1
Four fields to fill out:
First and last name.
E-mail.
password.
Repeat password.
And once you have created your account, try log in to see the live feed here: https://www.dr.dk/tv/live/dr1
I know, it's totally idiotic! DR1 is a public service channel, so I simply cannot understand why they choose to block it.

I forgot I'd already created an account for DRTV so I had to find my password. However it still hasn't let me see this live programme. I'm hoping that when it goes to the balcony programme it will. this is the first time EVER that I haven't been able to see a live broadcast on DR TV of a Royal famil event so I'm really diappointed at the moment. Billed Bladet will be reportig live (I think) so will go and see what they are up to. If anyone else has any joy let me know.

It's most annoying!!
In fact I've written to DR1 and complained, but don't hold your breath...
Now for something slightly dramatic.
QMII lives at Fredensborg these days, but she is stuck, because there has been a traffic accident. Right now they are trying to get her through via police escort, but she may not be able to make it in time for the balcony scene.

I can't get it to work either. I have created an account and set my VPN-Client-Addon on Sweden (Denmark isn't available, but Sweden worked with the Frederik documentary so I would have thougt they allowed it this time too). But it still states that "the media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported". So weird. I can watch the other videos - but they are not live, so maybe it's really more a technical problem? When they geo-block they usually they so.

Thanks for this link Muhler
Glad QMII can make it. I wonder what she is thinking today? She nearly died giving birth 50 years ago and also having lost her husband not so long ago. But she must be so proud of her eldest son after this week

Both DR and TV2 have changed their rules, and therefore one are not longer able to watch the live feeds from an foreign ip address, even when you have a subscription (this was something I found out now).
--------------------
But try to watch it here, on NRK (the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation): NRK live
Their broadcast starts at 11:50 (in about 5 minutes) - please let me know if it works.

BB are sending live as well, see earlier post.

Thank Royal Noway, your link works. - Please bump up the link.
The NRK feed is identical to the DR1 feed, so the the quality is in top.

Good! The NRK coverage is basically the DR coverage without commentary.
