H.K.H. Kronprinsen deltager den 5.-8. november i International Sailing Federations (ISAF) årsmøde i Estoril, Portugal. Kronprinsen er medlem af ”ISAF Events Committee”, som behandler og afgiver indstilling til ISAF Council om bl.a. alle ”ISAF Events” samt De Olympiske Lege. 2007 markerer samtidig 100 års jubilæet for International Sailing Federation, hvilket bl.a. markeres ved offentliggørelse af ”ISAF Hall of Fame” mandag den 5. november.

HRH the Crown Prince will attend the International Sailing Federation's annual conference in Estorial, Portugal, from the 5th to the 8th of November. Frederik is a member of the ISAF Events Committee, which is in charge of and gives recommendations to the ISAF Council about all ISAF events (including the Olympics). ISAF celebrates it's 100th anniversary this year, and the inaugural "ISAF Hall of Fame" will be held on November 5th

I read this news some days ago, but I did think that it wasn't true because it was in a magazine or newspaper not very good, because when mentioning Prince Frederik they called King Frederik, but it also mentioned the presence of other european royalty from norway, united kingdom, spain and others.
But also mentioned that to not have that much expatation on getting some photos of the event, because it is a kind os very privite and restric event.

I too thought this ISAF thing was a serious concern...but sailing???

Anyway from reading the DRW article one good thing has come out of it...the next sailing meet will be held in Perth, Australia in 2011...hopefully a pregnant Mary and the THREE kids* will accompany Frederik and pop over to the east coast (of Australia) for a business/pleasure trip

*I want Mary to have her third kid in January 2009 and no.4 will be due in July 2011...do you think she will listen to me? Christian will be 6, Isabella will be 4, No.3 will be 2 and No.4 will be due in 2011...

According to Lux Magazine, Prince Frederik said to the journalits present that her daughter is a very pretty girl and the experience of being a father of a girl is just amazing. "Girls are very different from boys in this early age. Being a father of two children of both gender is a miracle" he said
