It has been a few years since I last visited Greenland. But now I have just landed in the beautiful country, where the minus degrees at the moment are double-digit and the wind is biting! ����
In the next few days, I will be participating in recordings for a documentary program about the Commonwealth for DR. The recordings have been postponed for a while due to the corona, but now I look forward to meeting the Greenlandic people again and reliving the magnificent nature.
The program will be broadcast later this year, and I hope you will welcome it, as was the case with the program on the Faroe Islands, which was broadcast last year.

Thank you polyesco. The recordings in Greenland were delayed almost two years due to Covid, IIRC. I am glad it's finally possible to do it.

Last weekend, the Arctic Command had the pleasure of having His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Frederik, over for a visit to the headquarters in Nuuk. Here he had a talk with the Chief of Operations, Commander Captain Michael Landmark, about Arctic Command's task solution in Greenland and the Faroe Islands. The Crown Prince was in Greenland in connection with recordings for a documentary about the Commonwealth for DR, which will be shown later this year. Arctic Command always appreciates when the Royal House passes by.

No surprise he is visiting Arctic Command to begin with.
With the rising temperatures the sea-lanes in the Arctic becomes even more economically possible. So DK has already increased the military presence in Greenland.
After the invasion of Ukraine that military presence will be increased even more. That is a certainty. So his visit has become even more relevant.

He looks absolutely fantastic! Quite the important event given this is the first time in 40 years I believe I read that an Indian PM visits Denmark! Looking forward to seeing pics/video of the meeting/official dinner at the palace.
