Crown Prince Frederik opened the exhibition "Let the doctors begin" at the Experimentarium in Hellerup today, January 23
The exhibition is called: LAD LEGENE BEGYNDE which means: "Let the Games begin" (not the doctors). It is an exhibition in connection with the Olympic Year.

Great pictures :flowers:

Now Frederik have two events in Denmark today.
Next week has events again and in the middle of next week Mary also comes home to attend some official events.

I wonder if Frederik will travel back to this family this weekend and then return together with Mary next week, I think he will :)

With his reading glasses in his breast-pocket. He'll learn soon enough it isn't such a great idea. Because when he bends down...

And his suit is a liiiitle bit tight, isn't it? Too much good food, when Mary isn't around to keep an eye on him? :D He's probably not been eating as much salad as he should. But then salad is only for rabbits anyway. :easterbunny: :ermm:

Yesterday was the last day CP Frederik was listed as the regent of Denmark. Today, Benedikte has taken over as ‘rigsforstander’ until CP Frederik returns as regent of Denmark again from 7. March. This most probably means that Frederik went back to Mary and the kids again after his official events yesterday. ?
Mary also has two official events the coming two days this week, so it will fit with Frederik staying with the kids meanwhile.

Today Frederik as regent held the public audience. He met with 64 people.

Also today, he attends the opening of Dansk Retursystem's new factory that processes recycled bottles and cans.

"3.8 million empty cans and bottles return to the Danish Return System every day to be sorted and recycled ♻️
Today, His Royal Highness crowned the Crown Prince the opening of the new Danish pledging system in Høje Taastrup, which will help to support the reuse of the large amount of mortgage packaging.
It was the Crown Prince who pressed the start button to launch the high-tech machinery at the new factory. His Royal Highness then took part in a tour of the factory facility, which in the future will supplement the Danish Return System's factories in the Hedehusene and Solution. The facility in Høje Taastrup will also help to secure the future of the Danish mortgage system, which today is one of the best in the world."

Here's a video report about Frederik in Taastrup yesterday, where he also commented on the Corona virus situation:

Thanks, Iceflower. :flowers:

Frederik said that he adheres to the current guidelines from the Ministry of Health.

First time we see a picture by prince Christian?!

"Today, through FaceTime, I have visited the Red Cross, which has established a significant preparedness to help Danes affected by corona.
Either because they have questions or need help shopping, picking up packages or medication at the pharmacy. I have met the volunteers who in a call center answer and help people who have questions about corona. I have also met volunteers who help out in a help center to match people who want to help others who need help.
As a Dane, I am proud of the great sense of community that is being displayed today. Over 11,500 have volunteered at the Red Cross. So if you need help and can't get out yourself, help is available. The Red Cross helps so that we can continue to look after each other by staying home, but without losing touch. It is also the reason why I have not visited the Red Cross physically, but digitally."

a great idea, a little boast for the day even through video

I remember he did a post for the Royal Run last year on Instagram, but this might be the first picture. :flowers:

From Secretary General of the Danish Red Cross, Anders Ladekarl:
"Historic. Had Crown Prince Frederik visit Danish Red Cross for 50 min today. Virtually. He had the opportunity to see all of our corona activities and talk to volunteers and staff. So happy for royal support."

the map painting is a great background

I believe so.
Perhaps he has inherited his mother's interest in photography?

Or perhaps he is simply following dad at the office, now that M&F's children are also at home all day.

I notice two things.
Frederik's desk. Antique patina or because he spilled something on the dest that left a stain.
His very erect body-posture. I wonder if it has something to do with his back-problems? Slumping is common at a desk, but not healthy for your back.

And a small "virtual" on the job training for Christian. He can see his father visiting one his patronages.

So lovely that the family shared a photo of Frederik taken by Christian! He's captured the moment well.

At 5.30 this morning, H.R.H. The Crown Prince was ready at Copenhagen Airport together with the CEO of A.P. Møller Holding Robert M. Uggla and Minister of Business Simon Kollerup to attend the world's largest freight carrier with protective equipment from China. His Royal Highness and the others present followed the directions of the authorities and kept appropriate distance to each other along the way.
In today's load, there were over 1,000,000 face masks and 170,000 protective suits and other protective equipment that will help the health care system in the fight against COVID-19.
The Capital Region of Denmark and Maersk have cooperated in the delivery of protective equipment to the Danish hospitals, and today's landing was one of at least 24 Maersk flights with protective equipment from China to Denmark. The project is called The Maersk Bridge and a similar project has not been seen since the Gulf War."

"A big help to all of us landed early this morning from a cloudless sky at Copenhagen Airport.
I was invited to attend the landing of the world's largest cargo aircraft, where the cargo of 1,000,000 face masks and 170,000 protective suits and other protective equipment will be a major help to the health care system for the fight against COVID-19.
I would like to extend a huge thank you to all involved who have made flights with protective equipment from China possible."

Notice the paintings on the wall.

It's well-known that Frederik is interested in contemporary art and has a collection of his own.
