If some people saying the royals don't work much... This Facebook news site have
collected CP Frederik and CP Mary's official events for the next 10 days.
https://www.facebook.com/23522781666...type=3&theater
They have official events almost every day. Og notice they are ONLY the official work.
Then there also are all their unofficial work, all the work behind the scenes, preparation, speech writing, meetings, calendar planning, transport, the work in the Mary Foundation, the work in IOC, clothes meetings, etc.
I don't think many people knows how much they are out to every week.

Fresh off his official visit to China and her usual busy week, Frederik and Mary tomorrow will attend the inauguration of the Lego House in Billund.
" The heart of LEGO House is the experience zones, consisting of four coloured areas, a spectacular Masterpiece Gallery where fans exhibit their impressive creations, and a History Collection where you can witness the development of the company and the LEGO brand over time. The experience zones are arranged according to colour. Each colour represents a certain aspect of a child’s learning. Red is creative. Blue is cognitive. Green is social. Yellow is emotional. Each zone consists of a number of individual activities and attractions "

The inauguration can be followed live on facebook

Taking place at 14.00.
There is a slim chance they may bring the twins.

How delightful that F&M had all four children with them to help to open the new Lego House. Lovely natural family
Here a nice video with som sweet moments:
https://www.tvsyd.dk/artikel/se-de-f...-af-lego-house
0.07:
Josephine: Mom, see, it's worms.
0.20:
Christian and Isabella already pro little royals shaking hands and talking independently with an organizer.
0.30:
Vincent: Dad, I'm going to swim (in a LEGO basin)
Christian: It's LEGO, Vincer. Do not jump on your head down there ... (those smart big brothers )
00:47:
Frederik is laying his arm around Mary. She takes his hand. Always nice to see how F&M remembers each other in the middle of 4 lively children, 50 people around them, and a packed program.
Christian hugs his mom. He has always been mommy's boy, hasn't he

Good family event. Everyone looks nice and appropriate. Not sure about Fred's plaid suit, though.
BTW, is Denmark's economy built on Legos?
Lovely family.
ETA: Notice that Frederik the proud father is taking pictures!

And Josephine being a little ham as always: http://images.stiften.dk/17/438317_1...928_3080_2.jpg
The hair-challenged man Frederik is seen in a number of photos talking with used to be the senior manager for Lego. He's quite a character! When he presented a large surplus for the press a few years ago - he sang and danced about the surplus. And that in front of otherwise pretty serious business and finance reporters.

It's fun to see Josephine dragging her dad away to see something. What parent haven't experienced that? - And realized (while tending to your dislocated shoulder) that you are the parent, not of an adorable little child, but a creature with a strength that rivals that of the Incredible Hulk!
It's also pretty clear that the twins are now at the age where they are aware of their gender, and that means they mirror themselves in their older siblings, if they have any. (Or their parents, if they don't have older siblings). Josephine dress like Bella and stay close to sister. While Vincent sticks to his brother.

It's nice to see the whole family there. This was a perfect event for the children to take part in, and they all seemed to enjoy themselves very much. It was great to see Christian, especially, interacting very naturally and with confidence in that sort of environment. He, and I would say Isabella, too, are old enough to understand they themselves are at the event as members of the royal family, not just tagging along with Mom and Dad for fun.

I could drop my husband & son off at this place and actually have a weekend to myself LOL.
What's the family behind Lego called - Aren't they personal friends of Fred & Mary?
How long was Frederik in China - he must have only had a few hours at home before being driven to this huge playhouse.
And just one more: why was Mary's speech in English?

Thanks, Iceflower
I think I could happily spend a weekend there as well.
The Lego family, with variations, are called Kirk Kristiansen.
Some of the family members are fairly close to M&F, but probably more close to Joachim.
Frederik was in China for three or four days.
The speech was in English, because Lego is an international business where the management and development default-language is English. Also, this event would have been shown on the company-intranet.

There was also a live feed on facebook and instagram with people from around the world watching and non-Danish guests and press at the opening.
