Article about Frederik and Mary in Brazil. They should be arriving today, their last visit to Brazil in 2012 with a Danish business delegation. Frederik has IOC meetings, Mary an event with a local kindergarten plus both will be at other events with Joachim and Marie.

When you follow certain royals members who working hard, it can be frustrating when there are still some people who believe they never do anything. Fortunately, it's pretty widespread among the people now how busy the Crown Prince Couple (and Queen are). The CP-couple do also have official duties almost every day.
They have been running a busy schedule recently, and now just returned from a packed business visit in U.S., I actually expected a quiet week for F&M now, but no. Again a week with official events from Monday morning to Saturday evening. I didn't borthered to count, but I fast skimmed the calender: Has Mary had 8 days off (or actually just without official duties) in the last two months?
Anyway, I guess a lovely quiet and long Autumn holiday in the cottage in Trend is needed for the Crown Prince Family :)

Yes, Roskilde.
It'll be interesting whether the PM will inform QMII and Frederik at the State Council that he intends to call a general election. Either because he might just as well clear the air and take it now or because he will face a vote of no confidence in the Parliament very shortly. - Both options are IMO unlikely - now - but it will sure be interesting to listen to his speech Tuesday!
- So for once the cameras may not be focusing that much on the DRF trying to "stay awake". As is tradition.

That's probably a meeting prior to another trip on behalf of Danish commerce. - And (hopefully) also an opportunity for DI to show their appreciation.
As such it's only natural M&F got a tour of the office. I believe it's new.
After all DI will be working closely with M&F for many years to come.
And in a sense I can understand if the court didn't put that up front in their calendar. Because some people criticize the DRF for being too close with Danish commerce. And that is of course nonsense in several ways. Not least because one of the main jobs of the DRF is to help promote Danish trade and export. - And as such help create jobs and income for all of DK.

This is one of the things that makes CP Frederik and CP Mary so hugely popular and respected as they are.
Today Frederik and Mary privately visited the homeless in Copenhagen
"Today, the Crown Prince couple visited the Morning Café for the Homeless in Copenhagen. In 2008, the Morning Café was the recipient of the Crown Prince Couple's award."
Video from Kongehuset's official Facebook:

To translate just 3 of the already many VERY positive comments from the Danes on the DRF's Facebook site:
1.
"Once I thought that no person (s) could ever be able to discharge such a large future successions in these modern times. I must just say that with our Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary that thought is completely shot away! They do it more than excellent - they are involved and interested in all events, classes and Dane's life in their own natural, love-filled and charming way .. ❤❤❤
They will be a fantastic Regent Couple .. and I as a Dane I'm mega proud of the Crown Prince couple as the DRF's present and future.
Ps. Note this is not written in the official calendar.. today's visit to the homeless is a desire! Not a duty .. "
2.
"So fantastic that our beloved Crown Prince Couple takes the time to meet the homeless. And not just meeting with a lot of fancy bodyguards and so on. But come over and give them their hands, sit down and talk with them as equal human beings ❤ They have my utmost and biggest respect ☺ That they do not feel too fine for meeting "those at the bottom of society" and give them their hand, listen to them.
(And love that HRH Frederik also greets the dog)"
3.
"WHEN !!!!!! Can we please call them our Regent Couple ??? I can't barely wait. They keep on impressing... They really get out and see the real world. Respect, Frederik and Mary."

wonderful. and great work by the Crown Prince couple. Visiting unofficially, I would not expect anything less from Frederik and Mary (we see it often). Especially with the organization around their Crown Prince Prizes, they put their hearts in this
Great organization. and thank you Roskilde for the translations
