Summary of article in Billed Bladet #41, 2016.
Written by Lene Skaarup.
As you know while M&F were in Holstebro to present an award, their children went to Tivoli to see a show at Eventyrteatret = The Fairy tale Theater, a show called The Star of the Nile.
The one taking them was Fritz Schur, a very wealthy businessman, who takes care of at least the finances of the Regent Couple. I actually didn't think he was close to M&F but I seem to have been wrong.
During the intermission Fritz Schur said: "I think it's fantastic. It's a pleasure to see every time. And I'm so impressed by all the kids every time".
Isabella was observed dancing back to the theater after the intermission.
Christian apparently appointed himself as being in charge of his sibling's behavior in the absence of their parents.

EB went to Amalienborg today in occasion of Christian's 11th birthday today.
But the picture of Frederik 8's palace shows there is no flag which means the CP-family is not home and are celebrating Christian's birthday elsewhere. A good guess is that the family have driven to Trend as usual in the Autumn vacation. I guess they need a quiet relaxing week after some busy month with a packed calender.

A simple, not over-adorned tree.
Notice the rug beneath the tree. It's very common here in DK, partly as another Christmas-decoration, but just as much for practical reasons. The trees shed their needles and it's easier to deal with if most needles end up on the rug. Another reason that no matter how well you clean your Christmas-tree-stand, there is always a real risk of stains on the carpet/floorboards, either from dirty water or resin. And it also helps camouflage cords to the lights on the tree. - Not in this case though it seems, as they are using candles.

Beautiful tree, but are those real candles on the tree or very good looking electric/battery operated ones?
Lovely photo of the kids trimming the Christmas tree and I agree its simplicity is very tasteful. We had a real one for years until my husband grew tired of cleaning up the needles. He promised to find me the largest spruce wreath for the dining room table each year if I'd accept a fake tree. Ah marriage is full of compromises.

That´s real candles They use these candle holders from Georg Jensen: Candleholders
And the top star is this one: STAR for the Christmas tree, large, gold plated

Aw, that's a sweet photo of the children decorating the tree - a nice surprise! Josephine's hair has gotten really long, it looks like it's a little longer than Isabella's now.
I love that they have candles - and real ones at that - on the tree. I can imagine that the tree is cosy to be around in the evening and at night. The rug is a good idea; I might use it for my own tree in the near future!

Wonderful Christmas/New Year card 2016 from the Crown Princely Family
Will be published in tommorows Billed Bladet:
http://www.billedbladet.dk/sites/bil...?itok=8Lrab4PO
Her er dit BILLED-BLADET | BILLED-BLADET
One of their best card ever IMO.
I love those small bubbly, smiling happy faces we always see on F&M's foursome
I see it is taken at Gråsten (most probably during the CP-family's summer vacation there this summer) I recoginize the blue/white couch from and earlier Christmas/New Years card from the CP-family from 2010.

Terrific pictures of the two munchkins! Possibly my favourite birthday pictures taken of any of the kids in a good couple of years. I think the individual pictures in particular manage to get their personalities across – Vincent who's a little charmer and Josephine who's full of life and action They should use the photographer, Pernille Rohde, some more.
I can't believe they're already six years old. It seems like only yesterday Mary and Frederik left the hospital a little bundle each!
