Frederik and Mary once said in an interview (last year, I think) that they always try to plan something for their children when they are away on official duties, so the waiting time to mom and dad coming home doesn't feel so long for the children.
Perhaps, therefore, while F&M took care of their official duties last Saturday in Holstebro, we could see Christian, Bella, Vincent and Josephine enjoy a cozy evening with a trip to the theater while mom and dad presented the Crown Prince Couple's Awards.

They all 4 looks so adorable! Now it must soon be time to see them all in action again, doesn't it? And their lively, spunky and happy personalities The Hubertus Jagt would be a good reason.

how lovely to see them again. A night out at the musical while their parents worked. very sweet, and I believe we have seen that couple with the kids and F&M at various musical plays over the years

Lovely photo! Frederik and Mary are obviously doing something right, their children are confident in public! They will grow up to be comfortable in their roles.

Muhler! What do you mean by this? Are you referring to Prince Henrik's love of culture and the arts so that sending the four crown princely children to the theatre demonstrates support to this end? And, do you know who the two adults are with the children in this photo? Such mysteries today on our forum!

The man is Fritz Schur, friend of the regent couple. He usually receives the royals attending the shows. He is on the board of the theater. I guess the lady is too. You can see the nanny (ies?) behind the kids. Mette.
I am guessing Muhler meant Christian as his fathers son, with his hands in his pockets.

No, no, no - my keyboard merely typed Frederik rather than Christian. It ain't my fault.

Almost there, Muhler It was while dad and mom presented their 'Crown Prince Couple's Awards 2016' last Saturday 8th October.
But nice picture! Notice how they walk in the same order as they are born: Christian, Isabella, Vincent and Josephine
I think Isabella has taken a big step in height, and I see Vincent is in Christian's former jacket, and that Josephine has got the cutest long hair. With daughters of the same age I know that long long hair is what rocks for girls these years.
Another delightful gallery of Christian, Bella, Vincer og Phine in Tivoli

They master some serious nice dancing skills in that foursome!

Always nice to see these cute foursome. An outing to the theatre with family friends while the parents are away working.
In one of the newscom photos we can see Peter Heering, longtime friend of Frederik and godparent to Isabella .
And just like most siblings, we have seen Josephine wearing Isabella's clothes, now Vincent with Christian's coat

Lovely photo of a beaming Christian. He's a great mix of Frederik and Mary, isn't he?

What a great picture of Prince Christian It shows all his qualities. Congratulations with the 11 years today, Christian. I'm sure dad, mom, siblings and Ziggy celebrate you in the best manner. Maybe in Trend.
I would like to share this comment I have just seen on Facebook - it's spot on!:
Quote:
Christian is such a delightful and beautiful, boy! And a perfect mix of his parents. And definitely a Donaldson-child - he is the spitting image of grandfather, John Donaldson, isn't he? The goodness and love shines out of him. He's a beloved child, Christian, that's clear!
It is odd to say this about a only 11-year-old boy, but damn, Prince Christian has so much king-potential! He is born for his role - and has been it right from day one. Rarely have I seen such a happy, confident, mild, peaceful and loving little boy, who seems to be completely confident in himself and his role, even in front of the very largest press corps. Respect Frederik and Mary ❤

A large gallery taking us trough all Christian's 11 years, from newborn to now a big boy :)

Indeed! It seems to be a very well balanced mix of public and private life. For example, cycling to school with Mum wouldn't be the norm for many royal children so close to the throne (and reasonably enough so).
For their children, ensuring awareness of their status while blending it with the ordinary is a tricky balance, but their Highnesses appear to have it down to a fine art!
