Wait, isn't Simons where Frederik was seen partying with the blonde at 330 in the morning??

Can someone identify the two ladies that were sitting behind Fred and Mary? The one in the blue dress and the one in the gray lace dress.

I'm totally caught off gaurd by Vincent. Josefine is not a suprise at all.

I absolutely adore Christian and Isabella. They are so charming. Christian already has the makings of a great king!

I love both names. Vincent is our boys name, should we ever have one (not going to hold my breath ). Everyone looked good, but Isabella was definitely the star!

I'm not a fan of the name Vincent, but I do love Josephine. I just didn't think Mary and Frederik would ever choose it.

I officially added these two bundles of Joy into my Family Tree Maker file. Christian and Isabella were so adorable! I wonder what gift Mary got for having twins.

I'm not sure who the lady in the blue dress is, but the lady in the gray dress is Mary's L-i-W Caroline Herring. I'm looking for a good picture of her outfit because I absolutely loved it!

Oh wow, Prince Vincent looks like his brother while baby sister Princess Josephine looks like... Princess Amalia and her sisters!

Right, random observations:
The names are all right, not anything I'd go crazy for. I know so many Vincents, it's not Royal-sounding so I'm not really excited but as someone says, the baby is starting to look like a Vincent. Out of all his names though, I'm most loving Minik! *sigh* How I wish they'd named the little boy Victor Frederik instead of Vincent but ah well, no point to that now.

Josephine's ok as well. Epic fail on my powers of names prediction though, lol. That Fred and Mary, they sure like to surprise us.

V&J's names are all in all, just all right. The first two sound good together--Vincent Frederik and Josephine Sophia but adding the rest of their names don't make a very melodious first name, unlike Isabella's 4 names or Elisabeth of Belgium's.

Joachim's bunch is really good-looking. Henrik will grow up as handsome as his brothers. I think had he been Alexandra's kid, he'd still look like that, lol.

I think Isabella stole the show. She is so adorable and full of life! She seems like a really fun kid. I love how she's always playing with her skirt, like she's not used to wearing anything so girlie girl.

Oh and final, most striking observation: CP Frederik's one yummy daddy these days, what the beard and the salt and pepper hair and the smile. He used to look so boyish, now, onto his 40s, he is looking like a youngish middle-aged man. CP Mary is one lucky girl! Love that shade of blue on her, btw.

In the blue dress is Baronesse Helle Reedtz-Thott. Here's a photo of her and Mary at her own child's christening: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...dtz-Thott4.jpg

Was rather disappointed the wee Princess didn't have any of Mary's names - eg Mary and/or Elizabeth. I love the name Ivalo thou - and Minik is growing on me too

I like the names. They fit with Christian and Isabella. Didn't expect Vincent but I like it anyway. I watched a clip at the news where as soon as they got out of the church Isabella ran and took Christians hand. I loved that!

Mrs. Josephine Rechner is one of the godmothers of Princess Josephine.
Does anyone know who she is? Might the baby be named for her?

A journalist managed to ask Frederik why they chose the name Vincent and here is his reply: Kronprinsen afslører: Derfor blev det Vincent - Royale - BT.dk

- "Vincent sounds good/ring well. It's a strong name and the meaning is good". Referring to Vincent meaning "the victorious" in Latin.

There was a discussion yesterday about the names on TV2. And they basically agreed that since the DRF has a strong mix of Danish, French and English the choice of such international names as Vincent and Josephine was very appropriate. Both names are used in Denmark, Australia and France and both names can easily be pronounced in all the languages, albeit differently. - Particularly Josephine is pronounced differently. Vincent is pronounced practically the same way in Danish and English.

Billed Bladet has a gallery of the afterparty: Billed-Bladet - Kongelig nattefest efter dåben - se billederne

Mary didn't go, nor did I spot Susan Moody anywhere.

There were around 40 guests for the private dinner after the reception, and if you take away the Regent Couple, PH's family and QMII's sisters I'd say the rest of them could easily fit into two or three limousines or so.

And they all went to Frederik's favourite spot, Simons. (You should all know that place by now). Ellen Hillingsøe left shortly after arriving, saying the music was too loud for her.
Caroline Fleming left during the reception, she had to go to work. She's involved in a new series of Topmodel.

Notice in the series above how Frederik escorts our Marie to the car. That's the way to do it, Frederik.
Joachim looks on approvingly.

ADDED: Here is a clip from BT: http://www.bt.dk/royale/paa-natklub-...aben-uden-mary

The left Simons at 02.40. The Regent Couple left the private dinner at around midnight.

Not sure if this gallery of the afterparty has been posted before: http://www.bt.dk/royale/se-alle-bill...rty-paa-simons
- Who is the weird looking women, with the, well, colorful headband or head scarf or whatever?

Didn't the fair Marie wear a red dress at the the church?
